GOOD VOIP FOR LAND LINE SERVICE.

Good Product and better than paying Xfinity for a land line or closes thing to a land line now a days. The setup can be hard for people who are senior citizens who want simplicity in plug and play and it's easy but as easy as 123 not completely so. But over all agoof product and cheaper than Xfinity so yes for the price and not having a big monthly bill for a landline.

This is a very good value. We decided to keep our home phone #, but wanted to save money. So, we switched from AT&T to Ooma for only $6.83 per month of fees. This base unit and two handsets is great!

Good product with a quirk or two…

Seems to be a reasonable product overall but does have a few less than desirable quirks. Mostly, it’s really slow to return to service if power or network drops. Second, the app is buggy and often times out when trying to do something. That said, their Support CHAT service functions well and someone was always quick to respond.

I bought this as a gift for my grandchildren. They love having a phone so they can call their friends. I love that they have a phone for emergencies. They had no trouble setting it up. The sound quality is good they called me right away. They said the sound quality is good on their side also Very happy.

    Great Service / Junk Handsets

Okay, this is really a two part review in many ways. Ooma the service and basic device: These are great! If you want to keep a home phone number and handsets, the base station is great, the service is great, I can wholeheartedly recommend it. Ooma the handsets: These are horrible cheap pieces of junk. When they work they're fine, they feel cheap, look cheap, and are built cheap. When they charge, which is rarely, they do work, but you cannot rely on them. There are still decent phones out there, wired and wireless, buy a set and plug them into the port on the back of the base unit and all of the complaints go away.

Our home has no cell phone service - but we didn't want to give the cable company any more money than we have to. It took a little bit to set up but once it was up and running Ooma is perfect. We got to choose our number and the calls also forward to our phones for when we are out of the house.

1st time using this system and I love it. Calls are clear. Had a little issue with the handset update but called ooma and they were able to help me fix the issue. We just felt that we needed a back up Incase our cell phone is not working.

I am pleased with my purchase. Customer service was helpful and the equipment seems to be quality. AT&T had kept increasing their charges to the point that I wasn't going to pay it any more. It should pay for itself, with the savings, in less than 6 months.

This device was painful from the start. Connecting it to my wifi took 10 attempts and ultimately required me to log into the hardware system level interface through a direct wired connection to the device (not something an average buyer would expect or be capable of doing). Next, we were able to make successful phone call, but on the calls after that the caller could not hear us. The day after setting it up, the device started flashing red and after HOURS with support and on the internet, I've been able to resolve the problem.

We purchased this solution after cutting the cord on our bundled cable package. It was easy to set up. It works great, but the speakerphone part is just ok.

Switched to Ooma to get rid of monthly phone bill from Optimum. Smooth transition and took two days to port over my home number via Ooma. Temporary number worked fine. Tech support at Ooma is fantastic. Took 5 minutes to start the system and was up and running no problem. Sound quality is excellent.
