A good replacement to my landline and cheaper in the long run. Fairly easy to set up and able to keep my same landline number .

This phone system was easy to install and port over my current number. Once installed it works with you existing phones along with the new cordless handsets. The range of the new handsets was superior. The best past was the cost savings as it will pay for itself in lest than 6 months.

This is my second Ooma, and they are the best. They work well, calls are clear, and cheap to operate. Got a great deal on this set, only upgraded because our original Telo stopped working after 8 years.

    Decent hardware, horrible service

Hardware is very nice. Ooma's system/performance/customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Phone gateway and handsets appear to be good quality with strong connections to network. Was having trouble with Ooma dropping calls or very poor call quality and customer service was of no help. Ended up dropping the service for another provider. Hardware is closed, so can only be used with Ooma. Can't update or upgrade software to work with another provider.

Cell service where we live is kind of shoddy so we kind of need a landline and the companies in our area are outrageous so this was perfect for $5 we have a landline again

Definitely a good alternative to a land line. Sound quality has been good, and no issues so far. Just have to pay a few dollars each month for taxes.

Excellent replacement for older Panasonic phones and Spectrum VoIP. Easy to install and has better call blocking features, like restricting calls to voice mail that aren’t in my contacts list. Ported my existing phone number, which took about 10 days.

Good hardware and easy enough setup on the software side. I noticed much better call quality when setup via Ethernet. Wifi works well, but Ethernet connection is significantly better, much more reliable.
