Purchased OOMA to get rid of my LAN line. The porting process and overall experience switching to OOMA has been great, we don't miss the old phone service at all. Though I already had a wireless phone system which I connected to the OOMA I decided to buy the bundle and try OOMA's digital phones. The voice quality of the phones is just OK. I would still buy the bundle again though because of the integration with OOMAs advanced features (e.g. visible voicemail, etc.).

The device is good, phones are a little tinny. The only real issue is that the manufacturer does not tell you they want to have an internet latency (ping) of under 10 milliseconds, which is almost unachievable with any copper based lines such as AT&T U-Verse (except fiber which I cannot get).

Telco Ooma It was expected based on the price I paid for it.

Super phone, worth my money and you just pay tax as a monthly payment which is $5 some change.

Very easy to install, you just have to patient while it is initially booting up

So much better than a traditional phone line. Works great and so inexpensive. Able to port in previous phone number too!

Fairly easy to setup--phones feel a little "cheap" but system works well. One warning--I had to replace my late 1990s alarm system because it depended on the landline, something I did not realize!

Great value. Use it for conference calls while keeping the mobile free.

If you need a landline, this is a great solution. That said, even the free plan ends up costing about $6/m in fees. This is a great solution for old people who insist on a landline and who are paying something crazy for it.

It was easy to set up but if you are going to use the same phone number as your I'll ooma, you have to call customer service in order to keep your number.

Product works great in an area where cell service is patchy, but internet is reliable.

got this so i could cut the cord for my house phone. clarity is not great but it will do.

Works for most part. It has gone offline three and I had to call for IT help. Not sure why this has happen, no internet issue at the times it went down. IT was able to get it back up and working in 1 call.

Works great. Is easy way to add traditional feeling phone and line for work at home situation.

Although it costs a bit more than other low cost options, the quality is excellent.

This phone and service has been wonderful. Saving money and not sacrificing any features. I definitely recommend Ooma.

Worst possible phone service you could possibly use. It sounded as if I was talking through a tunnel. I like whenever I chose to cancel the service and refund this. I called them and they were willing to offer almost everything including the device I was using for free. Seems a little bit suspicious.
