The wireless capability and variety of features are also appreciated, but some users have noted concerns about the battery life.

A bit underwhelmed by this product. Though the product looks high quality in presentation, it feels very cheap to the touch. The interface also feels very 1990s, but not in a good way. The call audio quality is probably the worst part about it. I have not tried using our old cordless phones with the base station to see if that sounds better, but I shouldn't have to for $100+.

The unit was fairly easy to set up but took a long time to connect to my router wirelessly. I have one phone connected directly to the router and one wireless Ooma handset. Very handy but sometimes the quality of the calls can be very bad - usually the person I am talking to hears a lot of static. Still it is great for the cost.

    Device ID Issue

Wanted this for my elderly mother who wants a real phone with a handset vs a smartphone. Bought it for her as a Xmas present. Tried to set it up and keep getting "Device ID Issue. Something went wrong." Called Ooma today and spent nearly 45 minutes on the phone giving information to Ooma only to be told that they are getting the same error message on their end and can't activate the device. Such a huge disappointment. Is Best Buy selling knock offs?

I’m highly technology literate and there’s nothing about this phone that’s user friendly at all. The sound quality is poor as well as the crappy UI/UX. I gave it two stars because I tend to ignore the 1 star reviews and I want this to be seen.

I tried the ooma but ran into issues right out of the box. once setup i notice that it keeps logs of who you call and who calls in and won't let you delete the logs on the website. had issue calling out cause it only allowed me to dial only 7 digits. calling into the phone was fine. called customer service was even worse. couldn't fix the 7 digit issue after an hour. So i decided to cancel my service. That was the worse experience ever! Call center is in the Philippines, and all the did was try to sell me more service. Finally i got upset and told them to cancel it and stop selling me stuff. Fun Quality of the phone is not good.

    1. This unit sounded like it was under water. 2. Add up the costs + fees + taxes firstly! 3. Number transfer is $39.99 + fees + taxes! 4. Suddenly after set up, I got solicitation calls every 10 minutes! This was with call filter on max! 5. Service professionals have limited competence. 6. Ooma claims free trial, however when I stop service, only hours after starting service I will be billed taxes and fees!

The product is ok but there is literally no technical support. If you run into any issues - you are on your own. Support is next to useless. I tried to resolve an issue where the handset lighting would not go off even when set to go off. So I called them and the rep was beyond unhelpful. Shockingly so ….good luck if you buy this product. You will need it.

The phone does not connect to a cell phone easily. My wife's iPhone never showed the device in the Bluetooth settings. My android did show it in the list but never connected properly. Called customer service to cancel the "free service " which I thought was no charge but we have to pay taxes. I was offered about 4 different options to keep the service which I kept declining. The cancelation phone call took 30 mins. Do not buy this product.

This item was very hard to properly connect to my wi-fi network. The connection required two tech calls. After the connection the sound quality of the handsets is terrible. It's almost impossible to understand calls on the handset. I'm looking for an alternative to this system.

Call quality is horrendous. I’ve moved the base unit to various places within my house, and every time I make or receive a call, the person on the other end says I’m cutting out. Nonstop echoes and distortion. Very disappointing

I had high expectations for this product based on other reviews. It did not work well in my home and I have excellent internet service. I had to return it after a few days. Cancelling was a hassle. I was on the phone for 20 minutes before the rep finally agreed to cancel the service. I bought a MagicJack and was very pleased.
