Ooma Telo Air 2
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After two weeks of use we find our Ooma Telo Air 2 a vast improvement over our 20 year old cordless phones. The sound quality is greatly improved and the cost savings helped in our decision to change to a new VOIP provider.

Good home phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The ooma is a quality device. The phone works on your wifi setup so there is no wires. Call quality is excellent and setup was fairly easy. The service is free but you do have to pay for the taxes which comes out to about 10bucks per month.

After all the hype disappointed in handsets.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Set up was easy enough just follow the instructions. Porting the number was easy but did take longer than I expected but I also was stuck with Century Link aka Qwest AKA Lumen. Have had to contact customer support 4 times in 4 weeks with weird things including handset 1 deciding it would no longer ring and could not be used to answer calls, handset 2 wound up doing the same thing both twice requiring shutting down base station, unregistering one or more handsets, removing batteries, unplugging handset chargers and then backwards. Annoying to anyone but me? Handset ringer volumes and speaker volumes are way less than adequate even WITH my hearing aids in. normal hearing aid settings for everything else needs to be over-ridden and turned up quite a bit to hear with speaker component. GREAT VOIP process but we also are on STARLINK with mega speed and minimum latency. The price is right monthly. Don't know if the business accounts have more reliable handset phones for sound, sure hope so. Would I still have done it for residential service? Yeah probably given it saves us serious monthly dollars in phone service. Customer service live despite being obviously outsourced overseas was helpful but 4 calls in 4 weeks to fix stuff that shouldn't be broken is at best average. i'm stuck with a mandatory "would I recommend this item" yes or no in order to post the review. The real answer is not without sharing in full my experience with this product and functionality.

Good value phone.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The phone works great! The installation was straight forward. It took several minutes to update the base and the handsets but this was expected. The sound quality is very good.

Seems to get the job done
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good! This replaced our old ooma box that died. I use this for my 2 little kids who do not have cell phones. I can’t complain, however, I don’t really know how to use the phone that well yet-ha! Just calling out and hanging up. The one thing I haven’t found is the pager button for a misplaced phone which happens a lot around here. Hoping it has one. Another reviewer mentioned some static/feedback issues with the phones and I have noticed that some.

So far so good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although it’s a big a pain ( it could be because of our internet was slow at the time of set-up) with Ooma to set up on the phone, there’s no issue as yet. So far so good.

Ger this if you want endless robocalls
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A coworker told me about Ooma ans thought it would be an affordable phone alternative for my elderly mom. But soonafyer activating, the solicitation calls began. Ooma is an overseas based companyso it doesnt have to adhere to U.S. regulations against solicitsion calls. We complaned to Ooma and were told an upgraded service plan would eliminate the calls. It doesnt. Ooma also has a clunky voice mail system. Yeah its affordable and call quality is good, but youve been warned about the biggest pitfall.

Love the call screening
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Finally did away with phone line, no sense in paying for it when I also pay for an Internet connection. Easily ported over home phone number to Ooma. The call screening capabilities of Ooma pay for themselves in the almost total elimination of stupid robo-callers calling at all hours. Only downside so far is the sound quality of the phone. Not sure if it's the overall service or just the distance phone is from base station.

Great and simple VOIP option
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with the product after one month. Easy to set up and works well, plus saves a bundle over the old land line (less than $7 a month vs about $40-50). Looks like google voice is an even better deal so I will try that next on another of my houses (looks like totally free number with the exception of the equipment to use with home phones and $15/year for the E911 subscription.

Terrific. Should have switched years ago.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Why didn’t I switch from a Verizon landline at $73 per month to Ooma at $6 per month? Ooma works as well as or often better than copper wire landlines. The audio clarity is excellent.
