    Disappointing for seniors

This was purchased for my 90+ year old parents. The handsets were intimidating to them and not comfortable for them to use because of their small size. This might not be an issue for a different user. Using their own phones, the voice quality was fine coming in but poor going out. The voice of the person calling in was clear but they reported that they coyld not understand my parents at all. Disappointin.

UNTIL YOU TRY TO CANCEL YOUR CONTRACT

At first, I thought the voicemail messages in Chinese were mistaken. But later i noticed they came in while on another call. This is a VOIP service. It is a Chinese product by the way. Just very odd. I tried canceling over and over but they kept charging me for almost a couple years. It was ridiculous. Yeah it's cheap but how many customers do they do that to? Cheap price but you find out why later later. I don't recommend this.

Perfect. Easy setup. Easy porting of landline phone number. Everything was completed in less than 2 weeks. New phone bill is 10 times less than the old bill. Should have done this years ago!

The phones work well and the service is cheap. The setup is a bit of a pain, but overall it's an excellent product.

Closed our Xfinity account, and didn't want Fios, so not much left, but found TMobile now has Internet, and landlines, so went with them. Ooma is the phone system they support, and we could not be happier with them. I would recommend this phone system to anyone who wants to be free from the big cable systems, and is looking for an alternative. We added two additional hand sets for a total of four connected to the base system. All working really well.

Almost impossible to get setup for wireless to work. Still can not get it to use wireless feature. Has to be hooked direct by cable. Disappointed in feature. Just buy wired and save money. Other than that works good.

I bought this ooma system last Nov., and have been very happy with it. However, customer service is very poor. I need a replacement charging cradle. A request to customer service got me a message that they would answer in 24 hrs. No answer in a week. I sent a new request, same response. I tried the online support. They said go to Best buy. Thankfully I hve two handsets so I can use the phone.

    Missing a battery

The handsets require two AAA rechargeable batteries for each handset. In the box, one of the packages of batteries of two batteries only contained a single battery. It would cost $9 to replace the battery if I bought it at Best Buy.

Original Telo was good. I would not try the newer

I had the original Telo for over a decade and it was fine. Bought the Air and it would not install using their app. Wasted hours and hours on the phone and they could not get it to work. Told them to switch my number back to the original Telo and they said they did. Did not tell me how to plug in the ethernet cable so then it would not work. After waiting an hour on hold the guy told me to switch ports so it finally works. This is the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with.

Great alternative to a hardwired land line. Add battery backup to it and the router/modem and you are good for emergencies
