Could be better
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Some important features like connectivity to wireless network is not that great, so had to use ethernet which constrained the base unit to be close to router/modem which was away in another room. It defeated the whole purpose of having an voicemail to check and call back from the desk one would normally keep the phone.

Exactly what I needed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the second Ooma system I have purchased. This one was for my daughter who needs a "business" phone but only uses her cell phone. We hooked it up in her home office and she was up and running in about 15 minutes. Very happy with the system.

Ooma Phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good phone as a 2nd phone. My only problem has cut out on me a couple of times. I do have wireless maybe with connection to router wouldn't do this. Handset is nice and easy to block calla. I only pay for taxes and fees. Well worth that to lose my home number.

Worth the effort
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Took me weeks to get it set up correctly due to having straight talk and cancelling my old service. DONT DO THAT IF YOU WANT TO PORT YOUR OLD NUMBER TO OOMA!!' However with thier great customer support i finally got it working properly and now am very happy with the product. If I had it to do over again I might buy the box and then buy my own wireless phones. Now that all is good I am very happy with the service although occassionally people cant hear you and you have to call back. You must have a strong wireless connection for this to work properly. Evidently when you do a speed test "the jitter count" is important to it working. It took time and patience but the ooma staff were persistent in helping me. Today I am happy.

Just get it
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my Ooma, I've had it about a year and 6 months. Works great, good sound. The reason it's only 4 starts, the handsets are questionable. But Ooma is the best way if you want to keep a home phone. My bill is less than $7 every month.

Ooma oh not so great for me.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me say I have decent internet that when tested for voip online service exceeds requirements vastly however so far talk quality has been much less than acceptable. I can live with the cell phone sound of voices but the drop outs during speaking is not acceptable. Good luck trying to read off a prescription number to order a refill. It may be due to the wifi type internet service I have but I thought it would work considering it claims to. I am past the lousy 14 day Bestbuy return period so I may be stuck with this system but I do not have to like it. If you have hardwired internet service to your home this might work for you and then you too can sound like a telephone sales agent.

Like the product, but installation takes fiddling
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve purchased three of these systems, for me and two other family members and installing them recalls the phrase “it’s always something”. One time it’s the setup app that can’t connect via Bluetooth. The next time it’s a WiFi agent that can’t connect through a login-screen (a $30 FireTV stick can). Once installed, however, the product works great. My particular unit was shipped from a store, not a central warehouse like Amazon orders, and as a result, it had some definite shelf wear as if it had been briefly opened and returned (e.g., the batteries for one of the handsets had been opened). The outside of the box was worn.

Ooma Phone System
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Thie was a very quick and easy set up and even to port my current number. I didn't want to disconnect my lanndline, but didn't want to continue to pay $25 monthly when we did use it much. Now my monthly fee is just the local taxes which cost me about $7 per month.

Good buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great. Glad I purchased. Saves on landline phone bill. Cheapest price I've seen. Helps when cell phone service goes out and you can still have communication in the event of any emergency. Never be without phone service . Works off your internet.

Ooma - Telo Air
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had Ooma for 7 years and I love it. It is great telephone service and has save me a lot of money. I had the old Ooma Telo and wanted to upgrade to the new wireless version so that I could put the Telo where ever I wanted. Very pleased.

Perfect workaround for spotty wifi/cell service.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this device(s) for my Moms home who lives in a rural area with not so good cell service. This has been a game changer for her home. Would highly recommend!

Great Upgrade on Wiireless connection.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the original ooma for years, which I used wirelessly for years by way of a separate purchase of a dongle. This was a pain, so upgrading to this version, which allows for a Bluetooth connection is a Godsend. It was easy to connect and reintegrate into my system. Connection and sound quality of all handsets is great. Coupled with a phone bill of $5.34, best investment I've made! Highly recommended purchase.

Cheaper than standard phone line
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for an alternative to paying for a landline that we hardly use so I started looking into voip phones. Ooma seemed to have the best reviews and available options. It was a good decision and will pay for itself in less than a year. The sound quality is good. I have no complaints for the little we use the phone. I also like that we could integrate our existing cordless phones into the ooma box. I recommend this for anyone looking for a voip connection.
