Easy to set up and get running. We've been using it for a few weeks now.
Sounds just as good as a traditional phone . I haven't had a chance to use too many of the online or mobile features yet, but from what I've checked out so far it looks like I'm going to be very happy with this.

Love still having the "landline" and this is the best option. Nice to have the backup to my mobile device. Pretty much pays for itself in 3-5 months with thatcjust dependent on whether you want to keep an existing number or just get a brand new number assigned.
Super easy to setup and connecr.

Ooma works as promised with clear audio. It is a very low cost option if you're wanting to maintain your home phone line. It was simple to set up and provides simple instructions for porting over your phone number. For a modest cost, it has provided great service and is a wonderful option..

I've had Ooma for about a year and a half now, I've had no issues with it. Set up was simple, call quality is as good as the much more expensive bundled service I had through the cable company before.
I've been very happy with this service and have recommended it to friends and family.

This is my second Ooma. My first one worked well but I wanted get the latest as it’s been many years since the first one. I have this primary to utilize our old phones throughout the house. Ooma saves you so much money on your monthly bill so it pays for itself very fast. Another great feature is how it rings your cellphone at the same time. So I never miss a call from my home number. There are other benefits like being able to blacklist any number I want. They also have a robust telemarking blocking service that you can use too.

Currently using the free service (you will incur state fees and taxes in the NJ area). I will eventually get the premiere service. Sound is clear and was pretty easy to set up. I hope it lasts!

I bought this since my internet and phone are in a bundle and I was considering switching to a 5G based internet service. I currently have a temporary number with the "free" option. Note that it's free plus 911 fees, recovery fees and taxes. That comes to about $6.50/month for the free option. The call quality is good. I haven't tried the paid option with voice mail and other features. The smart phone app works well. It makes your smart phone act like an extension phone. That's a neat feature. Overall it's a good option to park your landline number if your internet provider doesn't offer landline service, and you still want one, at least until the landline goes the way of disco 8-tracks.

Set up was fast and straight forward. Customer service was great and very responsive. To date, no issues whatsoever and quality of the call is crystal clear. Simple set up, Ooma plugs into my WiFi router that plugs into my modem. My phone plugs into the Ooma device, that’s it.

Setup went so easy. I had a new phone number and was able to make calls within 10 minutes of taking it out of the box. I like only paying $4 a month for service and I get to call anywhere in the US for free. International rates are really cheap and you also get $50 credit just for buying Ooma.

After being with vonage quite a number of years and their pricing going up year after year, I decided to give Ooma a try. It was a breeze to install and was up and running in 10 minutes. As my kids had more devices sucking bandwidth the vonage was acting like a bad cell connection. With Ooma's new technology it sucks 1/5 of the bandwidth and I have not had a bad call yet. And the real bonus is I went from $35 a month approximately to only $3.74 a month. This one is a winner!

Cut the Cable phone cord and installed Ooma. It has worked perfectly for our household. Only $4.09 a month and Wonderful Customer Service. I have since had 2 other family members install Ooma for their home phone. Works better than Cable company VOIP phone. We love it.

With little over $4 bucks a month(premier service is more) to have a lan line with 911 service its a great deal, just got to spend a bit of money up front, but you'll recoup your cost in the long run. So far no connection issues and the voice quality with the Ooma brand handset works great.

Having mostly good luck using Ooma. Pretty easy to set up and use. I have just the basic at about $6.00 per month. Very good value.
Only downfall is it goes offline every once in a while which can be annoying.

I am still a new user but so far things are working well. My primary motivation was to replace my phone service from Time-Warner Cable as it had gone from $20/month to $60/ month! The Ooma is just as good and not nearly as expensive although it will take several months to realize savings as the initial cost is not insignificant (versus just disconnecting the line entirely). I have had this number for 15 years so we decided to keep it if possible. Set up was easy, it should be noted that you are automatically placed into a premium service category so if your goal is low cost you must 'opt out' to basic.

It was very easy set up and to verify the set up the customer service was outstanding walking me through to make sure all the wires were connected to the right ports because we connected to a modem and a router. It allowed us to no longer ahve a land line saving some money. Post installation it works great with clear voice quality.

This is my second Ooma unit. The first one had a faulty Cat-5 connection and therefore it could only maintain an intermittent connection to the internet. I finally purchased this new unit and was able to port over my current Ooma service from my old device to this new one. You have to talk to customer service to activate from an existing Ooma account and device to a new one which entailed a few phone calls and a few days wait to have the new service activated. The new box is similar to the old one and I hope this time the connections are more secure. The call quality is good and everything works great. I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 because it would be nice if Ooma made this unit wall mountable. It would only take having two holes at the back of the unit and since most routers and gateways today are wall mountable it would not require sitting this unit on a shelf.
