Sick of paying outrageous $$$ to AT&T? I was. At $30+ just for a dial tone and no long distance or additional features it was time to cut the cord. The Ooma Telo was so easy to set up, amazing sound quality, nice features (for premiere service which I may drop after my 60-day trial) and best of all - a new, lower, much lower phone bill. $4.37/ month. You will need a good High Speed Internet connection at home (I use Xfinity X-1 with speed boost). They say sound quality is comparable to that of Skype, but personally I think it is a bit better. My only regret is not doing this sooner.

This is the go to product for landline replacement, easy to set up and easy to use. For regular service you only have to pay tax which is around $5/month. Cant go wrong.

It installs easily between the modem and the router. It worked right away. I figure it'll pay for itself in about five months.

Paid $10 less than online price. Easy setup with internet. There is an additional cost of ~$45 from Ooma if you Import your old phone ##, however, if you don't care you get a new ## from Ooma your monthly phone bill is $6.19(iowa) for state, local, federal taxes calling anywhere in the continenal US. Now if moving phone ## will not change. Good voice quality over internet. The downside---if you lose power or lose internet connection you lose this phone line for communication.

Took only ten minutes to set up. Simply plugged one cable into my internet router and the phone cable into my cordless phone. I signed up for premium service which gives you voice mail, caller ID, as well as several other features including automatic screening for telemarketers. I've had the service for a month now and have not received a single telemarketer call!

I bought this primarily to use as a fax line. Wasn’t sure how well it would work for faxing but it has not let me down so far. Call quality is also crystal clear. Setup was a breeze!

Our Ooma Telo thus far has worked flawlessly. The sound quality is excellent, and installation was a "breeze." The Ooma system has far exceeded my expectations. It supports 911 location identification programing, as well as caller ID, voicemail, call waiting, call forwarding, etc. With the savings from terminating our land-line based telephone equipment, the Ooma will pay for itself within 3 months. I highly recommend the Ooma Telo .

    Great Savings for Landline Users

We switched to VOIP to keep our landline phone, but pay less than the phone service plan we had. After doing research online and talking with others we decided on Ooma, and so far (its been two months) have been pleased with it, especially the low cost for service and all that is included in the service. We especially like the ability to block telemarketers/spam calls. The quality of the sound is pretty good most of the time, occasionally there is an echo of your own voice or slight static sound, but mostly the quality is clear. One thing we don't like is that the voicemail alert light on the unit is very, very tiny.

Easy to setup and register. The sound quality is good. Transferring my phone number took less than a week. Other than the up front fees (the device itself, registration and porting) it will be a lot cheaper in the long run, than having my landline.

The ooma telo was super easy to setup and get going straight out of the box. There was a glitch in the beginning with the telo connecting to the internet, but that could have been the service too (not sure). Once it was up and running, i havent regretted the purchase; crystal clear calls with no more monthly bills!!!

Works as advertised, easy to setup, porting a number (if you want to keep your existing number) takes a while and does cost extra. We have no issues, many options to choose from after you get it setup and go to your account. Can't beat it for what you pay per month.

Wife needed phone for business, tired of Comcast and their service. Easy setup and porting number took about a week to complete. Tried magicJack first, once installed found out that calls to Alaska were considered international calls, so much for magicJack. Not an issue with the service you can even talk to a real person at OOMA, no such services with magicJack. Would recommend OOMA and have to friends already.
