We had been with Ooma for a number of years already and wanted to replace our old unit with the current model. The first one lasted us for many years and thus far this new model seems to have better construction then the old one so I expect nothing different. The setup was easy, as expected. Customer service was great helping us set up and transferring our account to the new device. Getting this unit means subscribing to the Ooma service, which I also can highly recommend.

It works. setup was easy, pleasant color, the blinker when I have a new message is not an annoying blink...just a casual light

It was fairly easy to get working. I plugged it to my router and AC and plugged in my phone. It took about 45 minutes to set itself up. It worked right away, but there are a lot of setup steps to do on the website to customize it.

The Ooma was right out of the box working. The setup was easy and quick. I switch over from my cable provider phone with better quality and additional features. Works great.

Had an old Ooma Telo that died after over 8-years of use. Was really happy to see that they were still developing products and, even happier to find that it was in-stock at Best Buy. Bought one and (aside from making sure that when you upgrade a device, you do NOT set it up by following the quick start guide...you MUST call customer service and they were very quick to help) was happy to see that they now have physical buttons and have moved away from the soft buttons. Call quality is good and makes for a very cheap way to have a home phone number.

Setup went fairly well. Had to reboot modem after connecting twice. This was replacement of a 10 year old unit. Overall Ooma has been a great replacement for my old hard line. And, much, much less expensive. I have some issues with quality of voice with the Ooma handheld so connect a regular phone answering machine. Works seamlessly.

I had for the past 10 years Magic Jack. Sure it was good for what it did. But there were echo issues with it. But I couldn't really complain for the cheap price it was. Eventually I noticed my wife only using her cell phone and not the MJ. She had enough with the MJ subpar service. So, that's when I decided to give Ooma a try. What a difference! Very easy to set up and to this day, no issues. Clear reception from both ends. Ooma is totally worth the $90. Only wish I would have made the switch a decade ago!

For those who prefer a so called "land line" phone over using a cell phone but don't like the high monthly costs from the phone companies, the OOMA internet phone service is perfect at about $5.00 a month. Easy to set up. You do need internet service, of course. One problem is if the power goes out the phone service goes out. 911 calls may not see your address also unless you pay for extra services, and there are extra services available but still cheaper than the phone companies.

Have had the Ooma service for 3 months. Works at designed. Easy setup and has mobile app control of account features. Not much to the device, so not much more to say. If you want just the basic wired service, works just fine.

After debating whether to go away from the traditional VOIP with our cable provider, we decided to take a chance on Ooma. Installation was very easy and took about 15-20 minutes. We had our phone number ported and it took about 1 week for it to complete.
You pick your own number from a list of available numbers in your area when installing Ooma, but can switch it to your old number after the porting is completed. It can be changed in the dashboard on your Ooma account or by calling Ooma customers service.
