I bought my first Ooma 7 years ago. I had no problems that time, and only paying $6.00 per month. No more paying for long distance, and talk as much as I want. I do not miss paying a phone bill that was at least 60. a month. Well after 7 years I had to replace it, and thankful Best Buy had one left. I love this system and you can upgrade for international calls as well.

Ooma is easy to set up, and the clarity of the calls is as good as a landline without the high price tag.

The Ooma VOIP system is everything they promised. The voice clarity is amazing. It was very simple to set up and the monthly cost of $5.71 for taxes only or upgrading to the Premier service for $9.99 is such a relief after paying so much more for my land line. I'm so glad I rook my friend's advice and switched!

Still testing this out to see if the voice quality is good enough to motivate me to drop my Comcast voice service. The price difference is certainly compelling. I pay Comcast $45 per month + the taxes and fees. Ooma costs me only the taxes and fees which are a little over $6 per month where I live. If the voice quality is good then I will recover the investment in the Ooma device in less than 2 months time.

    Great Product - Hidden Costs

Bought this to replace my Vonage monthly costs and factored in it would pay for itself in 4 months. Did a fair amount of research and overall it got great reviews. Installation was easy and was up and running in 10 minutes. Interface is great it's easy to use and works well on mobile devices. The hidden cost comes in if you want to keep your number. They charge $40 to port and that was not something advertised until I tried to do it. Its a great product but be aware that if you need to port and are looking for ROI add another couple of months to your calculations

    Ooma is Awesome

Ooma is the best way to keep your home phone active without the cost of paying the phone company. Has 911 service in case of emergency just $3/month, otherwise calling is free. Plugged Ooma ethernet cable into my internet and phone cable right into a phone jack inside the house and all my phones in every room were active again. Setup was simple. Took a couple of days to port my original home phone number over, but works perfectly now!

My old phone company was charging $30 + for phone service. We bought Ooma so that other family members who like a land line can use it. It does have some sort of music or noise at the beginning of the pick up, it doesn't bother me to save over $25 a month. You do need good internet service from what I read, so check with them before buying if you are not sure. I chatted with two different people on their website, they didn't pressure me to buy, but did ask me to. I just declined.

Great product allowing you for a one time fee to port home phone number to their free system. Only paying monthly tax and fee which in my area is $7. Allows adding address for 911 calls. Easy set up and use existing land line phones and house lines. Good voice quality, etc

The voice quality is excellent and the mobile app is well-designed. I strongly recommend this to anyone who wants to save money on their phone bills. I have a premium account and I am saving nearly $40/month over what I was paying for telephone service from Comcast. T

Great little device that saved me over $28.00 per month! The local cable provider was charging me $35/month for land line service and with this little gem, I'm now paying $6.92/month with all taxes and fees included. All the features work fine and hookup was a breeze. Highly recommended!

Works fine at an unbeatable price. Just $80 for the phone router and then about $5.11 per month. And it worked with my old cordless phone. Try it out.

I'm using Ooma after trying Verizon Wireless home phone service. With previous service, I would have to go out on my porch for callers to understand me clearly. With Ooma, I can stay in the house and callers here me very clearly. I'm pleased with this service, but wish it had come with the WiFi adapter - that is another $50, and I guess Best Buy doesn't sell it so I will have to find it elsewhere. Otherwise, very pleased with this purchase.

We've been Ooma customers for over ten years. Our old Telo unit died so we were happy to be able to get a replacement the next day. Ooma has been reliable and who doesn't love free phone service? According to Ooma we have saved over $4,400 in the ten years we've used the telo device. Highly recommend.

Friend told me about ooma and how much money he was saving so I decided to give it a try. Upfront money is cheap about 100 bucks and then about 4 bucks a month in taxes. I'm saving about 800 bucks a year since I dropped my other phone service. Easy to set up, great reception. Only flaw is if you want to use a fax machine this isn't the best idea. For making calls only it is perfect.

Works great with good sound quality. Saves us $70 per month in phone bill. The ooma purchased at Bestbuy was defective but rep off the phone since a replacement by next day Fed Ex. Has worked great for about five weeks. The My Ooma internet site helps to track calls if you like.

It was easy to install, and works fine! Only took a few days to port my phone number. Their chat was very helpful. I took the premium service in order to help weed out spam calls, and it seems to help. Works with my wireless phones, and nice advantage that I can hear voicemail on my mobile phone. I don't use it often, but also can be forwarded to your mobile phone if you need.
