Awesome alternative for fax and phone.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great way to save $$ instead of having to go through your local carrier. Instructions are a little vague, and you may have to call Ooma to clarify. If you just want a fax machine you will need need 2 phone numbers anyway and have to get the premier account and a telephone splitter which costs a little more but still alot cheaper.

It seems to be working well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We wanted to save some money, and a friend and my boss recommended Ooma. So far so good. It seems to work well. It drives the 3-4 phones (incl. base units with remotes) that I have (I plugged it into the wall outlet, and it works well). The only con seemed to be that they said it would take a few weeks to port my number. In the end though, it only took a few days (I installed it just before Christmas).

Good choice to drop phone services and saving mone
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simple to order and activate; they took care of the 'port' transfer of our home phone; there are many options they offer but we only needed the basic. I hope lasts for many years and saves us a ton of money.

Great product! Beats the others big time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our Ooma service has been great. Having experience with VOIP systems at work, I knew that Ooma would deliver. Yes, the initial cost is a little steep, but it pays for itself within months! All of our calls have been crystal clear and the entire number porting process was a piece of cake.

Great phone service and customer support
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this phone service to reduce overpriced landline monthly costs. Purchased the premier monthly service for the added features that I needed. Eliminated all those annoying scammers and fake callers almost immediately. Great customer service, extremely responsive and available almost immediately. Didn't have to wait in a queue to reach someone for assistance.

Works fine; cheap communication like it should.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works fine. The rest of this, of course, is simply filler, since this page is requiring me to use at least fifty characters in this box, even though "works fine" says it all. Sooo... hopefully this makes my fifty characters.

Works for me!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Happy with my purchase. Employee answered my questions. Price was the same as other websites. I've set up Ooma and so far so good. I expect to see savings over the cost of my landline.

Seamless
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best thing about a system like this should be that you don't even notice it. That's the case with Ooma. The phone rings, we answer it, the sound is flawless, and I'm not overly aware of the technology. One thing that is noticeable is that Ooma announces who is calling. That's kind of nice. I haven't set up any of the special features yet, so I'm guessing I'll be even more impressed when I do that.

Works Well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even better than advertised and reviewed, this system was easy to set up. For about $42 (including taxes) I was able to port my old land line number. It took about 7 days to complete the porting process. If you get internet via DSL you will have to contact the service provider. Ooma will also apparently connect reasonably well with Nest products (e.g., smoke/CO alarm and video camera) to compliment the Ooma Security Service (offered via Ooma premium).

Great to have a lower phone bill each month.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very satisfied with Ooma. We had a friend tell us about this product, he too, was very satisfied. The initial investment is Ooma box, then we ported our phone number $39.99, but be aware there are taxes and fees that are added to this port. Ended up being $50.14 for the number ported, this included the $39.99 charged for porting. The service is clear. I definitely recommend this product.

Hiccup but worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It you install this behind a firewall, you likely will encounter some installation problems. I have two of these now and both had same issues that were resolved with a call to Ooma support. But given the dollar savings of VOIP service over my other options, as well as the voice quality and features, I am more than happy with the Ooma Telos. And if you connect to the DMZ side of your router/firewall, you should have zero installation problems.
