Hiccup but worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It you install this behind a firewall, you likely will encounter some installation problems. I have two of these now and both had same issues that were resolved with a call to Ooma support. But given the dollar savings of VOIP service over my other options, as well as the voice quality and features, I am more than happy with the Ooma Telos. And if you connect to the DMZ side of your router/firewall, you should have zero installation problems.

Great Unit
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this unit to use as a dedicated fax line and to make a call once in a while. It works perfectly and I could not be happier! Faxes go through and or are received with no errors and when using for voice, the quality is great. I love this little unit.

So far, so good
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After about 10 years with Vonage and not getting help with problems, I thought I would try Ooma. It took me about 20 minutes to set it up and activated. So, far all good.

Why did I wait so long?
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this thing! Initially we had a problem hooking it up with our cameras, but once we figured that out there were no problems. Call quality is great. Initially had some dropped calls, but after reconfiguring some settings hadn't had any issues since. Should have done this sooner!

Great VoIP phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only drawback that I've come across with Ooma is that they charge $40 to port your existing number over. The price is higher but the quality is better than other VoIP phones. They do have some nice but pricy accessories but I've found them cheaper online.

Great Home Phone Service
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The BEST VOIP phone service. Just connect to your router & online to turn on your service. Then you just pay around $5 or less depending on your location for basic home phone service. Or you can get their top of the line service $10.

Ooma Oooh My
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this system for my home to eliminate monthly charges charged my the cable company. Our fees are roughly $4 and some change a month. Way cheaper than the $30 plus the cable company wanted to charge us, and the quality is the same if not better. You can get home calls routed to your mobile phone. Also, you can block telemarketers. Definitely a worthy purchase.

I haven't paid the phone bill in 6 years
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned and Ooma for over 6 years. I just upgraded to the latest model. The call quality is the same as a corded phone. Calls to the United States are free. The money saved by using this unit is paid for within 3 months. If you are tired of paying for phone service and long distance calls, this is definitely the way to go. My entire family uses Ooma.

No more home phone bills
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Ooma after looking at several other VOIP phone systems. I only have to pay for the monthly tax charges and not the add-ons unless I choose to. With other systems, there is a monthly charge other than taxes. Plus, it's transportable. I can take it wherever my job takes me as long as I have Internet service.

Great product, great service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a bit hesitant cutting my landline in exchange for the Ooma device and service, however, after doing so I'm sorry I didn't do it earlier. So far, a month later, flawless service and great quality phone calls. Plus the big plus is that my monthly bill is cut by approx. 90%. Happy with this product and service.

I would recommend this product.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would recommend this product. The box is portable so you can move with it to your next home if that applies. Easy to install. One time fee for the box up front and after that you only pay the taxes/fees monthly. Flexibility on various options. I did select to port my old phone number for an additional cost but you can choose to get a new phone number instead.

i Got another one!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the ooma telo before for almost 10 years. I liked it so i bought this one. There is no change in how things work! it still works exactly as promised. i need to keep a land line for my business. This a great economical way to do that.

Ooma working great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm satisfied with paying $5 a month for the ability to have a landline. One should be careful though with breaking a bundle with a cable provider to go this route as the other pieces of the bundle usually go up enough to counter the savings of the Ooma service alone. But so far I've seen no difference in service or call quality since making the switch.

Lower da phone bill
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound/voice quality. Includes built-in messaging device. Phone bill is now only my state taxes of $4.85 a month. If you have extra phone extensions, you may need to buy their Linx devices or their phones. Depends on how old and what brand/type phones you have. I’m happy with the purchase and the new phone bill amount.

Satisfied and the speaker works
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy is offering me points for completing a review, but this does not affect my rating of this product. I had to replace my previous Ooma because of an electrical storm knocking out that Ooma. One note - the previous Ooma that got knocked out had been shipped to me during the pandemic and the speaker on the Ooma never worked. I was never sure if that was because of the Ooma service or the device. The new one - the speaker does work and that is rather cool. So far - this works as described and expected. Satisfied.

Best VOIP product on market!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had Vonage for 12 years, my co-worker recommended OOMA! Wow i will save $25 a month and the service appears to be on par with Vonage. Plus they have a little better control as i bluetooth pair my cell phone with an optional adapter to enable my home phone use on incoming callas while my cell phone is charging.

Free home phone service *
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.* other than telcom taxes and fees. Bought this to reduce my ATT bill but still keep a home landline. Works fine, bill for basic service is just the mandatory taxes and telcom fees (about $5 where I live) and includes voice mail. Available premium service includes more features than I need so I opted out but is only about $20/Mon.
