Easy to set up in less than 15 minutes. Great call quality. I have been an AT&T customer for years and I've never had the call quality I get with Ooma. Great Product.

We've been using Ooma for our phone service for over a month and have had no problems. The device was easy to set up, we are able to use the two phones we have (without any additional devices), and we're saving so much money the Ooma will pay for itself in just a few months.

    DOA device

Received a DOA device which was replaced by Ooma under warranty, but the telephone support process and subsequent shipping resulted in having a telephone outage of over 2 weeks. I purposely avoided attempting to return the device to Best Buy due to past experiences with DOA electronics especially over the holiday period. Best Buy may not be responsible for DOA hardware but the fact that only one store in the area - and much further away, had a replacement pushed me to pursue resolution with Ooma directly as well. That said, personally, I believe that since I had a previous model for over 9 years without any technical issues and there was an eventual resolution by Ooma on this DOA device, I will continue to use the service and recommend the product.

I bought the Ooma to replace my Fios Phone service. Porting of the phone number was really simple and quick, it only took 1 day for it to be completed. Everything was up and running within 10 mins. Sound quality is clear and I do not notice any difference compare to Fios Phone. I am saving $35 a month because of Ooma.

Clarity and operation is as good as any. There is up front cost of buying the Ooma unit itself. Monthly cost has been roughly $5.50. Comcast was about $45.00 a month so it paid for itself in 2 months. If the internet goes down then obviously no phone service but that is not common.

I was tired of paying $ 30 some dollars for phone service every month. I purchased Ooma Telo. paid few dollars to have my current landline number ported and that was it. It is a plug and play 5 minute install. Works just like a regular phone and I pay less than $4 per month.

We love having a house phone again. We were only using our Verizon Mobile phones and Verizon has extremely unreliable service, but with ooma we have clear reliable service it's so nice to be able to have an uninterrupted conversation again no static or dropped calls.

We've tried two other VOIP systems (Vonage and MagicJack) and prefer this one. The features are excellent (we pay for the Premier option), including Name Caller ID, advanced call blocking and more. We've noticed fewer robocalls, too.

Easy installation. The only challenge is that it needs to be plugged into your Wi-Fi using an ethernet cord. If your Wi-Fi is not where you want your Ooma, then an additional purchase of a Wi-Fi adapter is needed. All in all a great purchase... Looking forward to saving money on my landline bills!!!

Well, really, it's just switching cords from either a traditional phone line or cable phone line (and their bills) to OOMA connected to your existing internet without a bill. Love it! Had constant problems with my TWC phone -- now, with OOMA, everything works perfectly.

After a very disgruntled conversation with ATT about land line service, I looked for other options. Ooma seemed to be the best option. My spouse is hearing impaired and their equipment was compatible with Ooma. Plus installation was a breeze and clarity is outstanding. I regret not converting to Ooma sooner.

The service works okay if you understand what you are getting into. Customer service is reasonable. I opted out of the premier service from the beginning. We may add this later. The telco unit failed after a month and we had to get a replacement unit. Fortunately I got the replacement through Best Buy since it was just barely within the return window. Hopefully it will work out in the long run. We ported our number so we want to give it a chance.

Great product! Wish we would have switched sooner. Easy set up, you can keep your current number if you want , or you can pick your new number. You get caller ID, call waiting and unlimited long distance for just the cost of the tax, which ours is $4.00 per month.

This system had an easy & quick set up. Very cost effective than paying for a home line through a carrier, for roughly the same services. I'm able to use my personal fax again. The monthly fees are under $5 for 911 & taxes.
