The setup was a breeze. The voice quality is just as good as my old cable phone. Be very careful with their “customer service” . You must notify them if you don’t want “upgraded” to their premium plan.

The clarity of calls is amazing for a voip service. The setup is extremely simple even a novice should be able to get it going quickly. I ported a number to this unit and the port was reasonably fast and didn't seem to have any issues.

Had it for a few weeks and so far no complaints. Porting our previous number over was flawless and calls sound just as if your on a regular landline.

I love this product. From out of the box to fully functional was only about 20 minutes (with product registration and optioin selection) My old number was ported over in about a week. Love it. Calls are clear, no lag.

Works great for me. I have it wired into my router upstairs with an antenna in the window. From there it feeds all 3 TV's through Roku. I have not had a problem with recording although I don't use it too much for that...

Had Magic Jack VOIP phone and had a problem almost every year. This time it would not let me use touch tones when needed to responed to automated answering systems. So far OOMA is working great with much better voice quality.

I had Comcast, too expensive. Switched to Vonage, worked very well but after initial contract period rates went up, too expensive. Tried MagicJack, terrible. I am very happy with Ooma so far, works as good or better than Vonage and no billing surprises.

While more expensive initially than Vonage, the low reoccurring cost makes Ooma a clear winner for thoes of you not willing to reduce quality and reliability, but value their cash!

This was easy to set up and has some great features - I like that it forwards calls to my cell phone. I also like that I got to keep the same home phone number that I have had for 30 years.
