Worked well at first
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When we first started using the Ooma the calls were pretty clear. But, after a while we found that the calls would break up or the person on the other end of the line couldn't hear us. Very disappointing. Kept the unit for future use in case the service improves. It is very economical if/when it works.

Great home phone line solution for pennies.
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great. Just as advertised. Less than $11/mo. to have home phone line. Have this plugged into a Linksys SE3008 switch for the Internet feed and a Vtech CS6719-2 phone base for the phone line. The other Vtech phone is downstairs and only requires an outlet. Rings both phones without issue. Calls are clear and have yet to have a call dropped.

My third Ooma. Best VOIP solution
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finally decided to boot my cable company out so I needed a solution to retain my landline. This is my third Ooma and I have to say it is the best solution out there for taking your landline with you when you travel or move. Porting in this case took 4 days, while the suggested wait time was 2 - 4 weeks. Great service, great product, all around perfect solution.

Excellent land line service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This little gizmo is absolutely great. We ditched our traditional phone service a long time ago but wanted the kids to be able to call us after school etc. I did lots of research into alternatives such as the 'Magic Jack' and other VOIP devices. Decided on the Ooma and very glad I did. I pay a grand total of $3.80 per month and that's it. Call clarity is perfect. User interface online is great and let's you customize everything you can think of. I'm super impressed with Ooma.
