Very good solution for voip. Phone quality is fantastic and lower cost as well.

some initial phone calls for someone else but so far the quality of service is pretty darn good. Really like the online management console aspects.

So far the OOMA does everything that I need it for. Glad to be saving money over other providers as well.

Had been looking to rid myself of the overcharging Comcast deals and then found Ooma. At present it seems to have solved the problem of the ripoff of nearly $50 a month to Comcast - for a little over $5 a month. Together with free calls in the USA, cheap international calls and an optional package to redirect calls and stop sales calls, it's recommended.

Mine work good for years, gave this one as a gift.

It works incredible. Great clarity and easy to use. I I'll never go back to regular home phone service again!

If you don't have a need for international VOIP, ooma is a great alternative. They also have great rates to international countries (Read the terms on Int'l calling!) that are comparable to Vonage. I didn't need the app support. Like that you can get a blue-tooth adapter from ooma directly to use your cell headset as a handfree device. Also support using a google number.

The device is excellent but superb service is the value.

Bought Ooma as part of the cable-cord-cutting process and am loving it. Haven't noticed a difference and am saving $15 / month ($20 for Charter phone down to $4.24 in taxes for Ooma. My wife wanted to keep the home number, so we ported that ($40 and maybe a week or two of time), which worked fine. And some nice bonus features (voicemail messages to Dropbox, etc.).

I signed up with Ooma phone service about a year and half ago and for the most part the service was fine. However, I ran into an issue where I was getting dial tone, the phone was dialing, but the call remained silent. At first I chalked it up to the place I was calling was either closed or having issues. The next day, I tried calling and ran into the same issue. I even tried calling my own cell phone, but it didn't ring either. I was able to fix the issue by power-cycling the phone adapter (It takes several minutes) and so far it is working fine. However, there was no indication lights that showed there was an issue and when I logged into my account page, it showed that there were indeed calls placed. Ultimately I decided to cancel Ooma's service and sign up with AT&T's VOIP service since I mainly use this service for backup and emergency needs.

Works great. I've owned 2 different magic Jack's and there's no comparison. This is much better.

Low priced phone service and customer support is very responsive

Im in the process of cutting the cable to all products offered by my cable co...so home phone service is one of them, was recommended the OOMO phone service by a Best Buy associate. which easily hooks to router, take care of the setup app., And Bam!..off and running, you pay $4.09 a month for taxes, and im saving $20.00 a month, they are also offering a free OOMO CORDLESS PHONE now, so another win-win for me..

Switched from Vonage to OOMA and saves us about $40 / month. Quality and service are equivalent, in my opinion.
