I was tired of paying our local phone company for a phone # that we don't use too often, but didn't want to totally abandon having a landline # (I don't like to give my cell # to everyone). This is a great option, inexpensive monthly fees, and works great.

The Ooma Telo is easy to install and works great..

Smart way to save $$ on land/voip. It works! Just need internet. Allows you to keep your existing land/voip number and port to Ooma, but there's a fee which could be much lower.

I was somewhat skeptical about Ooma but decided to give it a try. I have used it for about a month now and it's working well. Set up was simple and I have not had any issues with my calls. I do have to dial 1, which is a like annoying, but it's with the savings

Wanted to keep landline for the home and same number. Simple setup and had phone number ported from cable company in a week. All I have to pay are the taxes. Great deal and the audio quality is very good.

So far, so good and it's been about a month. Getting my home number ported was a pain but that was because of my local phone provider so I'm glad to be done using them and paying almost $80/mo just for phone.

I wish this was invented in the 90s.land Line phone service from the era was very expensive.

After 2 years of paying more than $30 per month for U-verse phone service, I have decided to go with Ooma. Now I pay less than $4 per month and have better phone service.

We've had it installed for just over a week. Even with pretty fast internet (45Mbps down), the sound quality of calls can sometimes suffer. On a call this morning, I had to ask the person on the other end to repeat themselves a few times. And a message left today was mostly incomprehensible, but thankfully was a political robo-call. We don't use the phone that often, relying mostly on our cell phones, but didn't want to get rid of the line completely since so many people still have it. I do really like the features such as black-listing spam callers, and the ability to make changes to settings online.

OOMA is a great replacement for land line based phones. Mom is 96 and doesn't work well with our new fangled phones.

Great product of modem needed for free home telephone service by Ooma. Shipping was extraordinarily fast. It arrived the day after ordering online! Nicely packaged and in perfect condition.

I used this to replace the phone service from my internet provider. Works better and is much cheaper. Even have the ability to answer calls and get messages on my smart phone. One of my best purchases

I bought this product from Best Buy end of January, I did the initial set up per Ooma instructions while I waited for them to port my number. First of February I received an email from Ooma that my number was successfully ported to Ooma, I then completed the Ooma set up. Everything was fine until the first of April when I noticed I hadn't recieved any incoming phone calls for a couple of days, even though I was making outgoing calls. I contacted Ooma immediately via live chat, and then a phone call to their technical group. Over the past 14 days, I have contact Ooma numerous times. Each time they promise to fix the problem within a few days. Now when I call them, all they can tell me is that my problem has been "elevated". By the way, their call center is located in the Philippines, so their English is not very good. They have promised to contact me by email, they never have. They have promised to follow up, they never have. If you read the 1 and 2 star reviews about Ooma on various websites, you'll see that my problem is not unique. I would never recommend Ooma! I still have a phone line which won't receive incoming calls, and, I'm out over $200.

I really enjoy it, just wanted to pay next to nothing for phone service and it certainly achieves that right out of the gate. The call screening feature on just the basic services is amazing. I've managed to stop harassing calls from telemarketers.

This device has exceeded my expectations and has saved me an enormous amount of money on my monthly phone bills.
