I needed to replace my house phone from wired to wifi using my cable internet. It works great and is a lot less than the phone service from the cable company.

Love not having a ridiculous phone bill every month. Just pay local taxes and I’m still have the same phone service you would with any of the major phone companies.

Switched my carrier from Verizon to Ooma. So far so good, some minor glitches but clarity is great and I have phone service all over country. Only have system for 3 weeks so have not received bill yet

I have not had any problems with Ooma. We have one at our work as well. It's a little less than $4 per month for our area, which is way cheaper than what the cable companies want to charge.

Replacing Vonage device. Their customer service helped with installation issues quickly. The portage fee seemed high, but the overall cost will be better

I wonder why anyone would buy another stainless steel appliance without being smudge-proof also getting the larger capacity fridge is only slightly more, a all around good choice.

There apparently was a bad batch of Ooma boxes with a bug in them. My first one was one was one of them. My sister also got a bad one. Fortunately, I was able to talk to a level 2 tech who quickly diagnosed the issue and instructed me to exchange it, New box was the TeloAir and works correctly. I would recommend with the caveat that you might get a bad unit that needs to be exchanged

Great way to keep a landline without the rediculous monthly charges!

This stacks up well against Vonage, with only a minimal fee for taxes, etc. If you just want a home line (for example, I get lousy cell service at home) this is a great backup.

Today’s technology is so remarkable! I just love having these tablets around for fun and research. Excellent quality. tablets handy for research and amusement.

We wanted to keep a landline but were tired of cable company costs. This works great with only an internet bill to worry about from the cable company. Love it.

Purchased this device because my son had Ooma and was satisfied. Hooked up the device and followed all the directions, activated account with coma and device would not work. Spent over two hours on the phone between Ooma techs and Netgear because Ooma stated the firewall on my Netgear Gateway was preventing the device from working. Even though the Gateway was only a month old, Netgear wanted $100 to assist. Finally convinced Ooma it was their device and they shipped a replacement. Of course, the replacement faired no better. Wound up returning the device to Best Buy after less than 30 days for store credit because you only have 15 days to return and it took that long to port my phone number and to receive the replacement Telos device that still did not work. Returned the replacement to Ooma and cancelled my account. I'm now out the $45 Ooma charged to port my number. My advice to anyone is to be sure your modem/router or gateway will support the Ooma service before you buy. There was little understanding from Ooma techs in regards to help with the Netgear problem and they are reluctant to tell you how to change settings on someone else's equipment. Overall I would not recommend purchasing even though Ooma is rated the #1 VOIP provider.

Stop paying high telephone bills. Get this and just pay the FCC tax a month. That's it.

I carry the unit with me so I can have the same phone number wherever I have internet. The fact that I can't have the same number on two different devices means I have to hand carry the unit, which is a real pain.

I needed a "land line" for emergencies. I will not use it very much, so I did not want to spend a lot of money. This works fine.

Say goodbye to the bundle from your Cable Company. Fast setup, good quality and the best part (cheap) is my phone bill is $3.10 a month!

Ooma Is The Greatest Item That I Have Purchased In A Long While! I Am A Disabled Senior That Needed To Lower My Bills, The Ooma Has Made That Possible!

Been using ooma for years. Bought this one for my parents! Phone bill now is only tax and is about 6 bucks a month!
