Set up took a few minutes however after that the results were great. Works fine for voice and fax.

Great product. Totally true what they say. There is a little distortion. But not sure I it's my phone or Ooma. But works great. I have it connected to my wifi extender and works perfect. Would recommend.

I use this device for my home phone service. It works intermittently, but given that the monthly price is a fraction of my former bill, I will keep it.

I've had this unit for about 3 weeks. I previously had VOIP phone service through my cable company. I had high hopes for this phone service but unfortunately I've been disappointed. One disappointment is the voice quality. Some calls are okay but other calls are terrible. It's particularly annoying when the voice message is hard to understand. You can't just ask the party to repeat what they said. The other thing I don't like is that the ooma unit and your primary phone are located next to your router. My router is in a spare bedroom. I may have to buy a new phone with more handsets so I can add a phone in the kitchen and family room. Their sales pitch is that this phone system is superior to cable VOIP, but I prefer my old cable VOIP.

So far everything working as advertised .. Loving that i dont have to pay $50 plus to the phone co.

Aside from the initial number port charges, my bill has been reduced significantly. So far it works great with no noticeable difference from my previous phone service

I replaced Comcast voice service with Ooma. I can't tell the difference other than the dial tone is different. Same voice clarity. Recommended.

Works great. Decided to cut cord but wanted to keep home number. Porting was simple and helps save $ over cable phone.

I read a lot of reviews regarding the Ooma system and have been very pleased. It is almost a simple set up. GREAT CHOICE.

I was looking into changing our phone line from a local carrier to Ooma. The reviews looked promising and Best Buy was offering an incentive to purchase from them, so I went into the store to buy this item. Two units were left and one seemed previously opened so I opted for the other box. Upon returning home and opening my purchased unit, I realized that someone had previously purchased this device and replaced it with an Ooma Air. I was unable to register the device because it had previously had been activated. I would NOT recommend purchasing this from Best Buy and purchase directly from the manufacturer. Unfortunate experience, but Best Buy did refund me with minimal questions asked. Hope this helps others.

When it works, which is most of the time, the device is a good value as the only charge after the initial purchase is a small monthly payment in taxes. When it doesn't work, it can be difficult to troubleshoot.

This thing is great. No more paying the cable company big dollars for phone service. Just stick to Ooma’s basic service and it costs less than $5 a month.

Ooma has allowed me to keep the home phone for a fraction of the price the cable company would charge. Super easy setup!

Seems to be great and the customer service was very helpful . Didn't realize that you don't need to dial the area code unless it is long distance.

No problems, system works great and if you do have any questions customer service is probably the best customer service that I have dealt with for a long time.

I have been an OOMA user for a LONG time. I finally had to replace the old unit which I would guess is at least 10 years old. Very happy with the service.
