I have blender but 'needed' another dedicated just to milkshakes (long story). Oster has a milkshake specific blender blade (bought on Amazon). So this is now a pretty terrific milkshake maker at a good price (blade cost the same as the blender itself) Pros: value for price. Does all I want. Cons: The motor is loud, the carafe is plastic and the carafe doesn't lock onto the base meaning I have to hold it on -- big deal :) Overall good blender i nthe low end market.

I can blend and chop their foods as well as make smoothies and etc for myself.
