Ours handled fruit and ice well, resulting in smooth concoctions . Have yet to try with other recipes such as batters or sauces.

Obviously you don't want to try and do anything heavy or hard like ice. But it jist might work fine the first few times but it will break down.

I have been buying this one ever since. Works great for what it is intended to. Specially given the price, I don't see why I won't purchase this again if I have to.
