Not working after one year

After making smoothies it smelt like something was melting and hot. Then slowly just stopped. Motor I guess

Great Blender, Great Price

So we haven't had it a long time, but it gets used a lot. It's had no problems blending whatever she's thrown at it, and I guess that's all you can ask of a blender. I was basically looking for least expensive with most room and metal blades (very cheap ones can have plastic blades, which I've learned is as bad as it sounds). So I respect this blender as much as I could respect a blender, I guess.
