I haven't had this toaster for very long (about 1 month using it) but no complaints so far.

Great size and appearance for the price. BUT - toaster lasted only 2 months before the switch that holds the toast down failed. Purchased second Oster toaster (different model) and after 1 month burns everything even with setting on 1. Also same switch design used to hold toast in. I can see a future where we will need a third toaster but it will not be an Oster.

This toaster does what it needs to... Liking the look and have no complaints yet. Would recommend.

The slots aren't long enough to hold a wide slice of higher-quality bread. The slots are only 4 1/4" long. Higher-quality bread is about 4 1/2" long. Also like others, I like my bread toasted evenly. This toaster will toast one side darker/crispier than the other side. Slightly annoying. Finally, the quality is really poor. Our previous Oster (bought about 6 years ago) was about the same price, but much higher quality. On the plus side, the slots are definitely thick enough to hold a thick slice of bread or a bagel.

You get what you pay for. It toasts well but don't use the bagel setting as that doesn't.

The Oster toaster worked for 9 months, and then when pushed down to toast bread, the handle wouldn't stay down on every use. Next the toasting function became worse and worse with bread not being toasted, or the bread coming out burned. On top of all those irritating issues, the toast then started coming out brown on one side and not brown on the other side. That was the point that the Oster went into the trash, and was replaced by a Hamilton Beach toaster that toasts bread perfectly. the slots also allow the toasting of bagels, and the Hamilton Beach was cheaper too.

Just after 30 days and perhaps 6 times of use, the toaster burns one side of the bread while the other side is properly toasted. Since the unit is over the 30 days, it becomes a manufacturer issue as Best Buy washes its hands of anything after 30 days. This is my first experience with an Oster product and it will be the last.

I bought this toaster a year ago, at first everything worked perfect on it. I had no complaints at all, but that changed about 6 months later when half the time the toasts would not pop up and would remain toasting inside with the obvious effect of burned bread. The warranty had already expired so I had no way of getting a replacement for it.

At the highest setting it won't toast bread, in fact it barely warms bread. I have to "heat" the bread twice before it will melt butter. Not a good product, they should not sell it.
