We will be returning this next time we go to the store. The bread carriage levers do not stay down consistently. If trying to do 4 slices, and lucky enough to get the carriages to stay down, the 4 slices will not be done at the same time. Upon reading reviews after the fact I find this has been a problem for others. This is not a satisfactory toaster.

It is not the best toaster in the whole wide of course but all in all great! I love the easy to remove trays and the retractable cord is awesome!

Dependable Toaster

After readings many reviews on several toasters from various brands, I decided that this Oster model had served us well and we would stay with Oster. We are not disappointed. The Oster toaster operates dependably, toasts breads just like we want and does a good job with bagels. We're ready for another ten years or more with this fine appliance. And buying from Best Buy was quick and easy.

It works ok, but some of the heating elements are stretched tight so they don't actually heat up at all. the rack on the far right got stuck down so neither of those slots would eject the toast until I used a knife to pop it back up. (after unplugging of course.)

The power cord pulls out from the back and can be retracted back in which is a cool little feature. Also on the bottom is little pull out slots to clean out the crumbs that fall down below.
