I grew up cooking with toaster ovens and love the flexibility of this air fry model by Oster. It has manual dials for controls so it’s easy for anyone to use and the air fry mode works just about as well as the dedicated air fryers I have. What maybe surprised me the most though is how well built this oven feels. The front door is glass and steel that seals in heat very well, which is critical for proper air frying and makes for a great oven. The rails for the baking rack and tray are more rugged than anything I’ve seen in a toaster oven, and I think the baking tray is stainless steel which also feels pretty solid. I’ve paid more for much lesser quality toaster ovens, so I’m really impressed by what you get at the price point. If I have any complaint, it’s that the cooking chamber isn’t as tall as it seems from the outside. It’s tall for a toaster oven, but the chamber is effectively limited to only 5” of height. It makes up for this by being fairly deep which enables you to spread things out for better airflow, essential for good air frying. My 12” pizza pan fits in with room to spare and the convection bake mode does a great job making a crispy thin crust. I really love the flexibility of slow cooking chicken at low temp, then air frying at 450 to finish it with a nice sear without needing to switch appliances. If you’re new to air frying, keep in mind that it cooks faster than traditional ovens, so start checking on your food about 30% sooner than you normally would. We lost a few good chicken wings learning this lesson. Overall, if you have the space and are looking for a manual control toaster oven, it’s worth getting one that can air fry and I highly recommend this one from Oster. Read on for more details. COOKING This oven does a pretty good job in all cooking modes. The temperature setting was within 5 degrees of my oven thermometer so it’s fairly accurate, but like any cooking device it’s going to cook a bit different than your others, so check on what you’re making more frequently until you get used to it. So far this oven seems to cook things faster than my other toaster oven, despite taking just slightly longer to get up to temp. I think it’s because the oven chamber and door do a much better job of thermally sealing things. If you’re coming from a dedicated air fryer, the big difference is not having a deep air fry basket with a grip. This means you can’t dump food in and out or toss it around like a traditional fry basket. Instead, it comes with a long shallow fry basket that sits on top of a baking pan. It works fairly well overall, but doesn’t seem to do as well with food stacked on top of another like dedicated air fryers do. It could just be that I toss those around more often because having a basket grip makes it easier to do than a tray. Whatever it is, you will have much better results if you lay everything out in a single layer, but there’s no need to neatly organize them. I always tell people if they ever buy frozen wings, fries, tater tots, or calamari, they absolutely need an air fryer and that remains true here too. Especially for calamari, where it’s seemingly impossible to get the breading crispy without over cooking it in the oven. 8 minutes on air fry will blow your mind. The manual control dials make cooking simple too. There’s just 3 controls: Mode, Temp, Time. No fancy buttons or displays to get confused over, just simple rotary dials that anyone can understand.

The Oster Countertop Oven and Fryer performs and look like a mini oven with convinent function knobs across the top. The Air Fryer uses 99.5 percent less oil for healthier cooking and meals. I love chicken wings and use the air fryer and not worry about greasy cooking after effects. The Oster oven roomy interior can handle large pizzas, chicken and makes for even, fast cooking with its 360 circulation. I'm sure I will enjoy my Oster all- in-one countertop oven with air fryer and 60 minute timer that lets you toast, bake, broil and warm to your hearts desire.

I have had the Oster Countertop oven with Air Fryer for about a week now. The oven has multiple ways to cook, Air Fry, Broil, Bake, Convection Bake and Toast. It would look on paper that having an oven that can do cook with multiple functions would be a good thing, most of the time I would agree, but I believe that my personal preferences ( I don’t want to say negatives) outweigh those functions. If you are used to cooking with an electric oven, then most of the following will be familiar. In the broil function, while it will cook the meat, there is no temperature probe to let you know what the internal temp is. You cannot judge the temperature of the meat by the looks, since the meat does not brown as it would on a grill or a gas oven. The Air Fry mode takes longer to air fry than most machines that are just Air Fryers, and since you are cooking at usually 400 degrees or higher, the machine gets really hot and will heat up your kitchen. The Convection Bake is probably the best cooking function since it will cut the baking down by 20 to 30 percent, but most new ovens have that feature now, so I would not buy this machine just for that feature. Oster does make a similar machine that also would rotisserie cook, which might be a benefit. The Machine is built really well, make sure you read all of the warnings and safety guide, before first use. One warning states that there must be 6 inch clearance between the countertop oven and any other surface, I hope they are referring to something above or on the side of the machine. The feet that come on the machine are only 1.5 inches tall, so unless you suspend it from the ceiling you are already not observing one of their warnings. The machine heats up just like a oven would, but there is not built in insulation to keep the outside cool, so make sure you are cautious after you use it.

This countertop oven met all of my expectations and surpassed a couple of them. It's quieter than I expected, and the only drawback is the lack of a light inside. So, I use a flashlight that I always keep nearby anyway.

Oster has created a kitchen food prep appliance that is not only versatile, and easily transportable; it is economical and efficient in that it can reduce the time customarily needed for cooking. Size: About 2 ' x 1.5' x 1.5' -- does not require much counter space. My 10" pizza came out perfect, and the steak I broiled was excellent. Warming and toasting bread/ english muffins -- eezzee peezy. The air frying and convection capabilities all worked as desired. My only recommendation for improvement would be for toasting and cooking for short durations. Turning the timer past 20 minutes to then dial back for short durations such as 6 minutes is not difficult, but getting these short durations consistent is difficult. The timer does not have any indents. You can't tell if you are getting 5 minutes, 6 minutes, 7 minutes, etc., because of the lack of indents. This makes getting toast consistently the same a painstaking chore instead of easy. With a toaster, you find the setting you like and leave it there, but with the toast function that is not possible as each use causes the timer to be set differently and the ability to return to a setting exactly -- is a pain, if even possible. Bottomline: I love the appliance and highly recommend it for all it's functions. Note, add indents to the timer for short duration settings/future models.

This unit gives you the option to Air Fry, Bake, Convection Bake, Broil, or toast with temperature settings up to 450 degrees. The timer can be set for up to 60 minutes, and all of the controls are analog/manual so I expect them to last a long time! It includes a removable crumb tray, a standard 2 position rack, a baking pan (12.5" by 11.5"), and an Air Fry Basket that sits in the baking pan. The Air Fry Basket's sides extend up about 1.5" so it's not a traditional "frying basket". But with the large area base, it holds a large quantify of food. We've used all the features, and the Air Frying is as good or better than traditional "Air Fry Only" appliances. The heating elements are very responsive, and the Convection Oven feature works great and generally cuts cooking time by at least 30%. And the toast is toasty! Historically multi-use "toaster ovens" were functional but really didn't excel at anything! This unit truly is an all in one that can replace many of your current small appliances and save you a lot of space!

So far, I love this Oven. It's doing everything that I was looking for to replace my old oven + more (yet to be tried). I've baked, heated and air-fried.

This air fryer offers a spacious and easy to clean interior. I made some hand cut fries and buffalo wings in it and it did a really good job of crisping them up and leaving them flavorful. It did seem to take a little longer than it suggested to cook wings, but the fryer basket gives you a lot of air circulation to get products cooked but keep them moist. Cleaning is as easy as pulling out the racks and using soap and water. The only real con is the size of the device and how it is vented. It vents up and out the back, and considering it's intended for countertop use it could cook the underside of your cabinets if you're not careful. It has a large footprint and takes up a fair amount of counter space. I like that it's not just an air fryer but also can be used to cook mini pizzas, make toast, bake various foods, etc.

Y’all, I have two smaller children and most days of this pandemic are more than just a struggle... this over has changed the game though! With two kids and two full time jobs my husband and I don’t always have the time, or even just the foresight, to plan out how meal time is gonna go... preheating the big oven to 400 degrees just to heat up some pizza rolls is torture for everyone. This has cut that time and therefore saved us so much extra grief from these kids. Now that football and the fall season (of snacking) have rolled around, I cannot wait to try out some quick recipes and have a lot more easy reheats on busy days!

Toaster Oven and Air Fryer in one Appliance which is convenient

Great build quality. Is sturdy and well insulated. Top doesn't get overly hot to the touch. Bakes and heats well. Have not tried air fryer option. Knobs are turn only. My only wish is that it had electronic controls, but can't complain too much because of the price.

I bought this as a gift and my son and daughter-in-law are very happy with their new air fryer. It was delivered very quickly from the time I ordered it and I am more than satisfied with the service I received.

I got one, my moms got one, your moms gonna want one. This thing is a tank and it provides plenty of toaster oven envy amongst your neighbors so beware it’s that good!
