A great little takealong blender for your smoothies at work. At least that's what I use it for. Not as powerful as some but still good

Oster MyBlend Personal Blender These sports drink blenders can be so convenient, well, unless they’re not. How many containers will I need to clean afterwards, how will I transport my smoothie, and what do I do with leftovers? The Oster is designed to be simple and convenient. It’s one speed (400 watts), with the container being a reasonable size (20 Oz.) for taking with you (BPA-free plastic), and the blade assembly is removed after blending and replaced with a pretty reliable looking cap to ensure no leaking. Cleaning the bottle afterwards can be done in the dishwasher. Neat. And, it all works. Operation is no more complicated than placing your ingredients (liquids first with ice, etc following) and pressing/holding/releasing the On/Off button. It doesn’t stay on so you can’t walk away from the blending noise. The noise level isn't terrible but you’re not hiding your activities from anyone sleeping nearby. My fruit (seasonal, both soft and firm) along with some occasional grains or seeds and ice get blended nicely. I’m looking at a milkshake in my future. The motor is more powerful than those small-ish blades might suggest. The thing about the fanciest blenders is they typically reach to accomplish much more than we’re asking of them. Sometimes less is more. The Oster MyBlend Personal Blender does no more than is required, but does it quite successfully with minimal cleanup afterwards. It’s got the smallest countertop footprint of any blender I’ve used. Easy to recommend.

First off, let me say this, if you think this is a do I it all blender, its not! But what it is and what its designed to do, were well thought out by Oster. My son is sixteen years old, he is 6’11” and plays in the band (I’m joking) he plays basketball. He is also a Type 1 Diabetic that struggles to gain weight. We had purchased a “high dollar” blender to help create the protein shakes his endocrinologist suggested we use, that are healthy and will help him gain weight. The problem was, it took us only a couple of minutes to prepare them, and what seemed like hours to clean the thing. Not this! And that’s the plus, I still use the frozen berries, fruit, etc. that we used in the bigger, higher priced blender, and the Oster My Blend has no issues mixing it all together. And as an added plus, it takes up very minimal counter space compared to the other. Now, he makes the protein shake, uses the same cup to drink it in. With the My Blend, I can remove the blade and clean it as well, the other the blade is attached to the seal, and has very small crevices that take forever to get clean. Again, the blender container, which is in reality a 20 oz. BPA free sports bottle that comes w/ a lid, is a grand idea. You simply fill the cup w/ whatever you wish, line up the arrows on the blender base, turn until it locks into place. Plug it in, hit the ONLY button on the base and it begins to blend. This is not a HIGH DOLLAR blender, this is a simple made, simple to use, simple to clean personal blender, that I highly recommend.

I have used different brands of blenders and Oster® MyBlend® Personal Blender is very compact. It is a countertop type with single-serve. It blends fruits, vegetables, and shakes very nicely. With 400 watts power, it blends tough ingredients to get perfect shakes and juices. The provided 20 oz sports bottle is the perfect size for single-serve shakes. It is very portable and travel friendly which can be used during hiking, gym workouts. The blender is very easy to use with one touch and very easy to clean and the bottle is dishwasher safe as well. I have been using this every day to make shakes and juices. I am impressed with the outcome of shakes and juices and highly recommend to everyone.

I really wanted to love this personal blender. There are some things I really like- It blends beautifully smooth drinks. I have made ice coffee "slushies" and breakfast smoothies. I like that you make and take in the same container- less to clean. However, there are some things that could be improved in the design- The lid flips down when you are drinking so if there is some drink on the underside, it ends up on your nose. A method to snap it open would be nice. The container itself is too narrow to get a sponge in to clean. Their directions say to put in water and baking soda or detergent and blend- I don't have time for that! I suppose it would come clean in the dishwasher but if you want to use it daily, that means you have to run the dishwasher every day. I also had a heck of a time figuring out how to get the unit off the base after blending. The container would start to unscrew from the blade assembly, meaning the whole drink would spill out. I would have to turn it the whole unit upside down, take the container off, and then figure out how to get the blade out later. It has taken a bit of use but I think I finally have figured it out (you need to push down slightly as you unscrew. The directions don't tell you that). I would also prefer a way to keep the blender going without having to hold the button constantly. I don't know about you, but I like to start the blender and then wipe the counter and do other things while it blends- not hold a button. I will keep it around for drinks on the go, but I hope they reconsider some of the design issues.

This is review of Oster® MyBlend® Personal Blender. It is a simple and light appliance. Upon grabbing it feels like grabbing a toy due to its built material. It comes with only one button as touch or holding it work at one speed. Placing the blade on the bottle then upside down on the blender base is quite straight forward. Once placed it, it will blend till holding the button. In short is simple and ready on the go just replacing blade with the lid. Only downside I experienced is that the fasting the blade assembly is clockwise which is same direction removing from blender base. Hence if one is not bit cautious can spill as blade assembly is stuck on the base.

Overall super easy to use. Supe small compact design. Not many parts so it does require much storage or counter space. Single serving is super convenient. Easy to clean easy to setup. Only 1 button to use so you can't go wrong. Only thing I dinged this blender on is when removing the container you have to be careful that it does not twist off the blades and then spill all over the place. I other than that I would recommend this as this is a neat small design.

Great personal blender, its so easy and quick to use! It's easy to put together (there was one piece that came lose and there was no mention on it on the manual, its a little piece in the form of a spiral and it looks like it screws in the bottom, and that is correct, it must be screwed in the bottom of the blades base). Using it is a blast and so easy, pour in your ingredients (I use mostly fruits), a cup of milk (I add a couple of ice cubes for freshness) close it up, screw it onto the base and voila (the blender has only one speed, and is more than powerful enough for any shakes, smoothies) your blend is done. I love that the container servers also as a drinking cup, it comes with an additional top that serves as lid. The container is plastic (then again, if it was glass would be heavy and prone to breaking, ruining the item). Apart from drinking straight up from the container, I have also poured the contents onto cups and I can say it maxes out at around two full cups+. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to make a easy and quick smoothie or juice.

Do I really need another blender? I asked myself several times when I was opening the Oster MyBlend. I was really surprised at how practical and easy this was to use. Simply because I create my concoction and then add the top and I’m good to go. No need to pour it out into another cup. The MyBlend is such a straightforward blender, with one power setting, and comes with its own 20oz BPA-free Bottle. I’m a simple person, and only made easy fruit smoothies to go. Another great feature, it is lightweight and stores easily in my shelf. I no longer have to worry about the large lumbering blender and all of the attachments if I didn’t need them: the Oster MyBlend is perfect for when I’m in a rush to get out of the house.

It's almost the end of Sep, and kids are still home for distance learning. They're always hungry around 3-4pm and making smoothie is one way to get them to drink more liquid, get their vitamins and it's filling them up enough to hold them until dinner time. First of all, I love how the bottle is big enough for 2 servings for my kids. Unfortunately, the mouth is designed to be used with a lid for on the go. When using frozen fruit chunks, sometimes your fruit chunks stick together and they're bigger than the diameter of the bottle. So, you have to break them into smaller pieces. Because it's also on the taller side, you have to stop a few times to shake it around. But all and all, we're happy with the results. We use organics frozen mixed fruits from Costco (strawberries, pineapple, peaches and mango) and Orange Juice without additional sugar. Happy Kids, Happy Mom!

The Oster MyBlend personal blender in gray is a very compact, lightweight, and easily transportable blender. So, as the pictures show, it comes with a plastic container that is BPA free and once you blend your drink with the lid that has the blades in it, you will then screw on the lid will pop up open and close port that also has a loop that can be be attached to a backpack, etc. Essentially, this is so easy to transport here, there, and anywhere. At first, I did not know if you could use ice in your combo because the user manual does not state that ice is usable and the blades in the blender lid are not that big or tough looking. So, I went on the MyBlend website because no one answered my call to the toll free consumer use line-COVID was still being used as an excuse to which I say that in mid-September is ridiculous. Come on people, answer your phones. At any rate, I looked at examples of what they were putting in the container to blend for the drinks and I did see ice cubes, but they were small square ones and they were also dispersed among the entire container, meaning they were not piled at one end or another but throughout the containers contents. I have this in my office so I can make pick me up smoothies during the day. The cord is short so placement on a surface might be an issue if not fight near an electric receptacle. Another thing, for safety purposes, you need to line up the arrow and lock in the container before the machine will work with the press of the button. If it is not lined up just so, the blender engine will not engage. I only got this about a week ago so I do not know the long term engine hardiness, but this is not an expensive piece of equipment so my expectations are not that high.

Love this blender! The only downside is sometimes the top can be difficult to screw and unscrew on. It blends quickly, but if you don't get the lid screwed on perfectly it will leak. If it is not screwed on straight, it will get stuck and be very difficult to unscrew. Use it to make fruit smoothies for lunch at work everyday.

LOVE THIS PERSONAL BLENDER! Had problems with this to start, called the company and they were awesome! sent a replacement and all is well!!!! This thing will plow through ice with no problem! It is 20 oz and I had it half filled with ice the other day and it was not a problem.....it is a BEAST!!!Love it has a lid that you just screw on after you get done blending and you are set to go! DOsent take up hardly any counter space either! I just put the blending lid back on after Im done and fill the container about halfway with water and run it with the water in it and it cleans itself!!! LOVE IT!!!

Great! Useful size, easy to clean, plenty of power for smoothies. Haven't had it long enough to evaluate longevity, but no issues after about 5 uses. Critical reviews regarding spillage are pretty obviously more related to failure to read and follow instructions, rather than any problem with the blender. Very common sense operation, but definitely read and follow the instructions provided for easiest, safest operation. Got it on Deal of the Day, so great value.

I came into the store looking for something that would blend powdered drink mix and liquid and do it without leaving half of the powder stuck on the blender wall...I also didn't want to fork out a lotta dough neither... This little number is exactly what I was looking for! Compact size, blends everything to a heavenly smooth texture, and for the coin spent, I think that purchasing this personal size blender is the best thing I've done so far this year, in fact I think that I'm going to get one more... I will be spreading the good word about this product to anyone that will listen! Go get you one, you WON'T regret it!

I love the simplicity of this blender. To be able to blend, cap, and go is just what I needed and didn't have to break the bank to get it. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is because I have to tilt and shake a bit to get the button to work each time that I blend. It produces a bit of noise as well which may be a concern if you have communal dwelling.

I purchased this blender because it has greater power than the one I have now. I was eager to try it after I received it. I filled the plastic bottle with ingredients and put on the lid with blade. I then screwed the entire bottle into the housing. It blended pretty well, but when I tried to remove the bottle, the lid with the blade got stuck in the housing and could not be removed. I had to turn the entire blender upside down to remove the plastic bottle without the lid, so the liquid would not spill out. I ended up returning the blender, too bad.
