I wanted something that was stylish & fit in with my black & stainless steel appliances. This is perfect because it doesn't take up much room. It is easy to clean. The only tricky part is getting use to the way it has to lock in place on the base. I make smoothies all the time with yogurt & fresh fruit & ice & this blended does a great job. I am pleased with my purchase.

Before, she can remove the glass from the plastic on the bottom now she is having a hard time removing it.

If the bottom cap is hard to remove from the jar, advise your friend to remove the jar from the blender base and soak the jar in warm water for about 20 minutes. Then, dry off the bottom cap section and, using a rubber jar opener, try again to twist the bottom cap off. If they continue to have trouble with the jar, please advise them to call us at 1-800-334-0759 between the hours of 9AM - 6PM, EST, Monday through Friday for further assistance.
