Powerful, blends small amounts as well as large. Purees very quickly, but you can blend at slower speeds so not everything turns to mush. Clean up is fairly easy. 16 speeds is probably overkill and only serves to make it more confusing to pick a speed as the same eight buttons are used for all 16 speeds. This is a minor annoyance in a quality product.

Actually has more 'speeds' than is necassary. Is there really 16 different blender speeds needed? Other wise it is strong, durable and easy to use. This one was bought to replace the same, but older version, of the blender that worked great for 8 years of daily use. The old one stiull worked great except the teeth where the top half connected had worn almost smooth and began to slip! New model is extra fast crushing ice!

This was a nice basic blender, bought for my dad for fathers day. It has still been going strong. Easy enough to clean and good value for money

I was going to buy the more expensive blendar but the salesman talk me into this one. It's a stronger and so far seems more durable than the others I have purchased in the pass. Easy to clean and seriously makes the best shakes and slushy I have made in a blender. Highly recommend...

Have purchased over three blenders in the past year, as we have frequent visitors, none of which lasted long (obviously). This Oster blender fits right into our decor, has the power we need and the cleaning ease and durability we'd hoped for.

Great blender for the price. It pulverizes anything you put into in seconds. I use it mainly for protein shakes - ice and frozen fruits are no problem. Nice looking too although the chrome finish base is actually plastic, still Im very happy with this purchase.

Bought this for my girlfriend she's been asking for one for a while and has used it everyday since it has been absolutely awesome!

It is an excellent blender, it blends everything, the frappe feature really crash ice and everything.

It was good, however not as powerful as its counterparts. It was a great deal on the thanksgiving and i would recommend to buy it for that price which was around $30. The blades are ok to good, the power is the only issue could do better.

Good for blending anything into a smoothie! I mix kale, spinach, cottage cheese and berries for a high nutritional value smoothie.

The blender does everything you need it to do. Only wish is that is was larger as is 6 cups instead of the 5.

It worked great, comparing to my old $30 plastic blender. only If the glass was lighter I would give 5 stars.

I love this blender. It is great for blending fruits and vegetables into a shake. It is heavy on the bottom so it wont slip off the counter. I dont suggest it for people with small children. Its a great kitchen appliance.

I got this blender last week and I've used to 5-6 times already. I dont know why everyone is complaining about the noise of this thing (?). It has a 450W motor of course it will be loud. If you have a car with 450HP would you think it would sound like a hybrid?? No, its powerful and loud. I like it like that. Great blender. Buy it.

This is a good product for the price. The only problem I came across was that it heated up quick. But other than that a good product and easy to clean.

My old blender finally worn out and started leaking, so I replaced it with this one. What a great little blender it is. Does everything I wanted it to, and then some. Really like having a glass container, instead of plastic.

I've had the Oster blender for about a week now and no issues noted. I put a 2 year warranty on it. Hopefully. i don't have to return it. It actually works great. Great affordable and efficient blender. would recommend.

Terrific blender! Makes great smoothies quickly, crushes ice easily, and the chrome appearance is always a classic. Haven't used it for other purposes though, so I don't know how well it works for making salsas, dips, etc.

I save loads on making my own knock off version of Starbuck's caramel frappachino's with this awesome machine! : ) it blends everything together and makes it a deliciously smooth.

I bought this blender a while back to juice whole lemons for when feeling the sniffles. I was at a friends for dinner and wanted my lemon drink and used their Oster. I was astonished that if you put far right bottom for a minute and then the white button on left for about 30 sec that the lemon is pure liquid. It was way better than my blender at home. Of course, I ran out and bought an Oster, which Ive now had for years. I add water and stevia and it's a great immune booster.
