Only negative is that the bottom of the pitcher doesn't seal that great so there's always a bit of leaking but it's easy enough to just wipe up with a paper towel.

That is why I bought it because my last blender was plastic around the blade and it broke after a few years. The lid is not a big deal but I just try to be careful with it and I don’t put it in the dishwasher. Also it looks pretty good for a low end blender. The glass cup is great but a little smaller than my last blender but it works great for us. The motor seems to have plenty of power to make smoothies which is we really use it for.
