It's a luxury for him because he would always go for the traditional wine opener. He loved it when he saw it! Uses it everytime he pops open a bottle! Bye bye manual bottle opener!

It has an indicator light to show it is charging while on the stand, but I wish there was also an indicator light to show when the unit is fully charged, or needs a charge so if you are using it for an extended time, you could tell if it needs a charge - otherwise I am pleased.

This bottle opener is designed for use with traditional corks, and you may find that a small percentage of plastic/synthetic corks and undersized corks are not as easily removed using this opener. In this case, we advise that the cork should be removed manually. I will certainly document your concerns and forward them to our development team for review. We are always looking for ways to upgrade and improve upon our products, and your feedback is invaluable to us.

As a matter of fact, I look right pass it and use my manual opener. It works so much faster then this one. It looks cool but doesn't work that great. Save your money.
