Whenever I used this product there was some kind burning smell which you have when wires are burning. Also the power of the machine was very low. It took multiple rounds to chop vegetables or even make juice

Some positives: Great size for the two of us Blends anything and does a great job, no issues with smoothies and blends ice very very well. Noise wise it is not quiet but also I added it as a positive as I don't see it as very loud at all Many options and settings which I like, but find myself using crushing about 90% of the time. Glass container is very sturdy and good quality and dishwasher safe Negatives: Watch out when cleaning as the blades will cut you (very sharp) Not the most "appealing" look but thats more of a personal style likability, Its an Oster and they focus on quality not look in my opinion (my inlaws have owned one for 20 years lol) Overheats. It does a great job of blending but it does overheat at times so keep an eye on that. Overall a good product with some minor issues which is why its a 4 star

This is an old school push button blender. But sometimes old school is the best school. Don’t let the simple exterior fool you, this thing is powerful! It can crush ice with little effort. Unlike some blenders that tend to rock or move when crushing ice, this one didn’t move at all. Next up was pureeing tomatoes. Every year we plant tomatoes and each year we are left with more than we can eat or give away. I used this to puree the extras and again, with seemingly little effort, it created a fine puree that I can store and freeze. Back to ice. I am a beer and wine type of person, but every now and then I like a frozen drink. I just dumped in the ice and all my favorite ingredients and made the smoothest Pina Colada I’ve had in a long time. It is also much quieter than others I’ve used. In the past, I found myself throwing in the items I want to pulverize, turn my head and wince. But this one did not sound like a plane was landing in my front yard when dealing with the hardest items to chop. This blender has earned it’s place in our kitchen (or bar).

This blender is very basic but works great! I've seen so many new blenders that have multiple blade attachments, high powered motors, and other special attachments that can make them hard to store and use because of their size and weight. This blender sticks to the basics and does just what it is supposed to do. I like that this blender is plain and simple. Simply put the lid on, place the blender on the stand, and hit the button that you want. The blades are sharp and powerful. My first test was to chop ice and after a few seconds the ice was all ready to make a slushie. My second test was to make a smoothie. Again, ingredients were blended quickly and smoothly. Really, that's all I need a blender to do and I was very happy with the results of this blender. Given the rather low price and the traditional style and functionality, I would recommend this blender.

Broke in less than a month. Thank God I purchased the protection plan.

Bought this online and waited several days before trying to use it. It didnt work right out of the box

Not happy arrived dirty not sure how. Best Buy compensated fairly for the inconvenience as I would no longer use if they did not…..

Easy to use, easy to clean, nice and powerful, simple design, quality build materials, solid construction. This blender is everything you want a blender to be, and nothing you don't need. I've used it daily for the past week making smoothies for breakfast, and pre/post work out protein shakes, and it worked perfectly every time without any issues. The seal at the bottom keeps the liquids in the pitcher and out of the motor, and the lid pushes firmly into place to keep things from splashing out while blending. The bottom unscrews and the blades and seal come out for cleaning. A simple wipe down with a soapy sponge and a quick rinse and it's clean and ready to be used again. I highly recommend this if you're in the market for a new blender, I'm sure it won't let you down.

It was damage and did not work correctly so I sent it back.

It was ok for soft blending. Kinda weak blender. If you try to make smoothies with ice, this one is not for you.

This is an inexpensive powerful blender. It comes with glass jar that is shatter resistant. This blender doesn't look cheap. The base includes a powerful 800 watt motor that provides 8 speeds of blending. This thing can crush ice and anything you put in. I tried making various smoothies, shakes and batter as well as. It was a breeze to use. Cleaning the jar is very easy and it is dishwasher safe too. Overall, this is a simple yet powerful and study blender for everyday use.

I replaced my old blender with this Oster and my first thing to make with it was margarita’s! Wow! The ice was perfectly crushed & blended…taste like it was from a professional machine. I love the look of this blender too-stainless steel/all metal and very durable. It’s not overly loud when in use and cleans up easy with dishwasher safe glass pitcher. I’m very happy with it-cheers!
