Disappointed but fixed

I had to keep pushing the air out to use the features on my iPhone 12 pro max. Best Buy took my return without a hassle and found me a better product. They really took their time and were really helpful. 5+ stars for the staff at the Best Buy store in Niles, Ohio!!!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Stay away from this screen protector and if you purchase it, do not have Best Buy install it. They tried three times today with three of these and none of them came out correctly. Of course reading the directions may have helped, but instead they simply ignored them and even threw the install tray and tools to the side saying they “weren’t needed.” (They were.) It was a horrible install experience. I’ll never have Best Buy install another screen protector again nor will I shop that store. There are others. On to the screen protector. It feels great to the touch but it does NOT fit with the Otterbox Defender unless you have it installed absolutely correctly (which is why I paid the “pros” to do it. If you try to reposition it, it’s game over. Trust me, I read a lot of reviews and appreciate the people who take time to write them; trust me when I say there are better alternatives.

Meh compared to other OB products

But there’s a very noticeable blue tint to it in certain lighting, and installation is over-complicated compared to other brands. There’s more reasonably priced screen protectors that do the same like InvisibleShield.

I found that this screen protector fits my phone perfectly and is very simple to install. I usually have the cell phone store workers put my glass on but I did this myself. I really like the blue light guard feature. I do notice my eyes don’t fatigue using my phone too much through out the day. So far I haven’t acquired any scratches on it which is always a plus. I haven’t found any cons so far with use. It fit just fine with my case too

Pricey but is it worth it?
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll start off by saying I had my iPhone 12 pro max for about a week before I installed this screen protector. If you have a new iPhone, do not believe the hype that the glass is better this year. A week after babying the phone in anticipation of this screen protector arriving I already noticed about 4 or 5 tiny microscopic scratches. Glad the Otterbox screen protector arrived when it did. OtterBox sends a kit that is supposed to make it easy for you to install the screen protector by tightening down two pieces of plastic on the top and bottom of your phone and stretching the screen protector across from the bottom of the phone to the top. This is kind of silly. One, it's hard to get the phone perfectly straight the way the installation kit is designed. Two, once you get it straight you have to keep the phone tightly snug in the kit while stretching the screen protector over top of the phone. I had to pull it off multiple times to get it straight since there's no way to know if its on straight until you lay it down. I'm sure there are videos out showing this process and it would probably be easier to go watch one and then compare this installation kit with a cheaper one. Another screen protector company sends a 1 piece kit that holds the screen protector and fits down on the phone and then you just pop them together equaling a perfectly aligned screen protector every time. Much simpler and efficient than the otterbox design. As far as protection, I have no doubt that this will keep my screen fully protected at all times. I also use an otterbox clear case. The antimicrobial and blue light guard are just a plus to me. However, although the title indicates this is "clear" once you step outside in the sunlight you will see a blue tint that does skew all colors on the phone, also if you wear polarized sunglasses you will also notice major color variations similar to some tinted windows when viewed through polarized lenses. All in all I don't know if the price is worth the hassle of the installation or the blue tint of the screen protector. I can't say the antimicrobial properties work, but in this day and age why not, right? Personally for me, there are more affordable options out there that work just as well and are easier to install.
