Barely used now dead

No sign of breaks, looks as good as day bought. But does not work. Cross tested with other cables all worked except this one. Very disappointing for an expensive cable that looks so well made.

However, this cable stopped working 4 months after I purchased it, which also happened to be the same day the 2 new ones I ordered were delivered. One of the new ones (not even a month old) is already not charging. The cable itself seems high quality, but the lightning connect is not.

Disappointing Otter product

Lightning tip broke in 8 months with light to moderate use. I used other “cheaper” cables more frequently to wear them out first. These cheaper cables easily outlived the Otter cables. Definitely not worth the price.

Does not work well with lifeproof cases

Because of the oversized area around the lightning plug, it does not fully insert into the charging area of the lifeproof case. As a result the connection is not as strong and if you even bump the phone it annoyingly buzzes between charge not charge.

Not Otterbox quality

It broke off inside my iPad. Fortunately, I was able to get it out. This is not the quality I expect with an Otterbox product.
