I know the Defender series is much more durable than the Commuter series but it was too bulky, so I went with this instead. The Defender case never gave me any trouble and did a superb job of protecting my phone. I think I used just 1 Defender case for the entire life of the phone I had it on before upgrading phones (about 3-4 years) The Commuter case also does an excellent job of protecting the phone but the bottom part of the case breaks apart easily after a few spills, probably because there’s so much to leave exposed there that it leaves that part of the case vulnerable. I’ve had to replace mine a couple of times before for the same phone (iPhone 8). The case for my older phone (iPhone 6s) has a similar construction and also broke apart at the bottom. One huge bonus of the Otterbox cases is they’ll replace it if it breaks. I just wanted a different color this time, so I bought this one instead of replacing the previous one through Otterbox. I recommend because of the replacement policy and the fact that my phone has always come through unharmed.

Needed a high quality phone case that does the job AND doesn’t get dirty easily. This case is light in color around the edges as well and it is perfect! It’s not only high quality but it stays clean and of course it’s easy to wipe if needed. Totally recommend.

The OtterBox Commuter iPhone 7/8 case fits my iPhone 8 perfectly and protects the entire phone. It doesn't have a screen protector covering the screen, but the cases lip is high enough that if you were to drop your phone face down the screen wouldn't contact.

It’s two piece protection it has a rubber insert that goes around the phone and a smooth plastic piece that goes around the rubber. I personally like just using the rubber please because it don’t slide off my leg or my chair arm.

Very good protector. Able to configure it a couple ways for your needs. I needed it to be removed quickly and easily. This does it. I would NOT get this for any phone that is not water resistant. This only really seems to help with drops, but it does that superbly.

My son has already went through one phone with a case from FiveBelow.. I decided to run to BestBuy and get the best case on the market an OtterBox.. Couldn't be more happier and feel my son will be able to drop his phone and not have it crack.

Bought case for Iphone 6s, it's meant for iphone 7 or 8 but it fit perfectly on 6s. Only thing is hole on back for camera has a bigger space around the camera but it works fine. If you have iphone 7 or 8 I'm sure hole will fit perfectly into hole slot. No biggie.

It protects the phone very well from bumps and falls. The only downside I can find is that it was very difficult to put on the phone. Removing it, however, is not difficult if you wish to replace it with something else.

Purchased for the iphone SE (2020). Fits perfectly. A little slippery but not bad.

Wanted something new with protection without the bulk. Only thing I wish it had was rubber grips on the back also

I like the grippy, rubbery cover, easy to take off and put on. I guess I didn't read the full description, because I don't actually use the "holder" part of it. And it's probably not the cheapest option out there. Oh well. I wanted something that wasn't super bulky but still offered good protection. The cover part works perfectly fine to protect the edges and back of my phone.

I love these commuter cases. On the thin side of an Otterbox product and protects my phone swimmingly! Def wish they would make these slightly cheaper and a better variety of colors.

The case was for my relative, my intial impression was awesome. (1) it gives excellent protection for your phone, (2) the grip is comfortable and does not leave fingerprints and lastly (3) the shade color is perfect... not too loud and not too bland.

My wife loves the look and functionality of this durable yet aesthetically pleasing case.

My daughter just got a new phone for her birthday and this was the perfect accompaniment.

This is a very solid and reliable phone case. I have dropped my phone many times with this case on and it has no damage. I would strongly recommend this product.

Otter box cases have saved my phone screen so many times. Inevitably I drop my phone to the ground but with otter box - never a bit of damage! I have had about 6-7 otter box cases and they all do the job! I have only changed them because I wanted a new color!
