Unfortunately I can’t say of drop protection experience, since I never dropped phone .But it does seem to be heavy duty without doubt.i had to return to store because of dust going inside the speaker ports and apple logo camera as well . But if you don’t mind dust this will definitely protect phone from breaking.

I absolutely love this case. Have dropped my phone a few times now and it has protected it like no other. Very happy with my purchase.

This is my third commuter style case bought over the past couple of years for all my devices in family. I like it because minimizes the thickness of my phone, lays flat to surface on camera side and the inner rubber/silocone type protective shell acts as a none slip feature when I lay my phone done on a surface.

It works I dropped my phone but the case absorbed the fall The case does ad extra size to the iPhone XR which can be a little Ann annoying

Case fits well and is decent protection. Salesman was what scored poorly in my opinion.

One of three cases I purchased. I bought this one for my son's iPhone Xr. As I stated before, I'm a little concerned about the front of the phone being exposed, but I understand, as these new iPhone's are opened by face recognition, and the phones are now waterproof. So far so good...time will tell.

Not the case I wanted, but this is just as good. A little thicker and slightly heavier than the one I came into the store for.

This is the best of the best in cases for iPhones. It does a superb job of protecting the iPhone in case it gets dropped and in case of being scratched. It holds up well and does not crack or warp. I lucked out by getting it on sale, and paid only about half of the regular price.

This is a great case for the price. I’ve already dropped the phone several times with no damage. I wish it had a screen protector.

The corners are rubber but the back is hard plastic - so it doesn't stand on it's side very well when you lean it against something for viewing. But it also slides into and out of pockets a lot easier than my previous Otter Box which was all rubber exterior. Hard outer case is sleek looking.

Good case, very strong and protection from the elements. A bit thick for caring in your pocket...but worth the cost.

I have had multiple iPhones and each time I get an iPhone, I immediately get an OtterBox case as they are the most durable, efficient phone case brand that I have come across! Very satisfied with this phone case and definitely recommend this to this who have an iPhone XR!

Always have chosen Otterbox and I will never sway!! Been an Otterbox customer for years and trust me they are definitely worth it. I still have defender case for my Samsung Vibrant, Aka the sg1!! And here I am now with my XR, years later, Android to Apple, but always an Otterbox!!

Seems like pretty good protection for my phone. It’s a little heavy but I feel more confident that I won’t drop my phone.

This case is a great protection for my child to prevent cracking and damaging her new cell phone.

I was going to purchase it through Amazon until I saw the timing on the shipping - 4 days - even with Prime. I checked the local Best Buy store and it was in stock. I made the on-line purchase after hours and it was held for pickup the next day.
