This one encased an iPhone. While sitting on the curb, the phone slipped our of my pocket and hit the curb -- the way I was sitting, it might have been a 2 inch drop. It landed on the corner and broke the iPhone. So, this is either a commentary on the Otterbox, the iPhone, or possibly both.

I don't know why this one fell apart eventually cracking my son's phone. I replaced his case with a cheap one and have not had any issues. For the price I'm not sure I will be buying anymore otterbox products when cheapers brands work just as well
