Wanted a case not ot big and not to small, but able to protect my phone. The only thing I would have liked would be a screen protector built in.

A little bulky but you get used to it. I take care of my phones, have never damaged one, case is just extra insurance

The best case for a kid or adult who doesn't need something cutesy on the phone. Strong and sturdy this case covers the edges gripping the phone tightly for the best protection. I would reccommend this for anyone and in solid black, it matches with everything!

The case is very solid and I know if I drop my phone it will be protected. It is a little bulky, but I do like the protection it provides.

Better than defender as it still keeps the lines of the phone. No screen protector however and should have for price. That said it does protect

I've had this case for a year and a half and I've dropped the phone multiple times with zero damage to the phone itself. The case holds up extremely well. The only small mark I found was at the corner where it was dropped on a sidewalk.

I have used Otterbox Commuter for a number of phones for my family and think it’s great protection without being too bulky.

im still having fun with this case and it amazing and really protect my phone for real that how many my phone was drop and still is like new this cover doesn't have any damage of the heavy use. my wife and i still rocking this case. worth the buy.

I have had 2 already for other phones. The last one I still have and it cracked AFTER I DROPPED IT. Otterbox honored the warranty and shipped replacement. These cases are great protection. So, when I bought a phone for my girlfriend, i bought this case for her phone.

Offers protection on the phone better than others. No screen protection with the case so I purchased a tempered glass screen and had it installed for 7 bucks. Worth getting if you want to protect your phone but don’t want the bulkiness of the defender series

I love this case. I use it on all of my phones. I left my phone on top of car and drove off. The car behind picked my phone up froM the highway for me. Phone was not damaged at all. I will always get the commuter series for every phone I purchase.

I like the ease of use and the ability to get to the app’s quickly. The camera is great and clear easy to used. I get a lot of compliments on the looks. It is a little big, but I’m getting used to it The spell checking is much better than my old phone .

Solid case that is easy to put on and provides ample protection. The lip around the screen is higher than most other cases. Like the other otter cases for the XR, there is some slickness with the plastic back but otherwise, protection is on point.

This is a sturdy case which fits the iPhone XR great. There have been a few falls from about 40"H and no damage was sustained to the phone or the case. There is a flap over the charging port which is annoying but I guess that it is to keep dirt out.

I love Otter Box Products, in terms of protection this is a great case, but in terms of bulkiness it is on the bulky side and may feel heavy and not too good on your hand. But if protection is what your looking for don't go looking anymore!

My husband needed a dependable phone for gps. He can’t believe the ease of how the iPhone works compared to his old phone. Loves the face recognition which is safer for him. Had no problem going to the iPhone from Android. Very user friendly

I swear by the OtterBox cases because I know there will never be damage to my phone. I work at a fast paced environment so I tend to drop my phone a lot but this case definitely protects from it shattering.

Good case but it’s bulky but protects phone. Your phone will be safe

Since buying a new phone 5 weeks ago, I've somehow managed to drop it on thin carpet, wood, and cement and so far, no shatters! I especially like how its not too thin and not too bulky. Any thinner and I'd feel my phone isn't safe.
