Yesterday was the first time I dropped this phone more than a few inches. I dropped it at belt level onto the street. So idea if another brand would have preformed better but I am disappointed.

In the end, we are unable to guarantee that absolutely all exposure to risk is eliminated through the use of our products.

I found out the hard way that it does not protect against ALL drops. My phone dropped and fell on its face. Much to my surprised, the phone cracked badly and requires replacement. This was my second Otterbox after many years (found a slimmer and better case line) and will be my last.
