If the phone did not got run over, he wouldn't need a new one. This is a very sturdy box and also has a good grip on surface.

Consists of an inner flexible rubber layer and an outer hard shell. Only thing i am not particularly impressed with is the flap where the lightning cable plugs in. Its a bit awkward to move the flap and plug the lightning cable in at the same time. Thinking of cutting it off.
