No matter how many times he has dropped it the phone is still in tact. The rubber part does get loose over time but I've just called otter box and they sent me a new one.

The only negative was the lack of instructions. I had to learn the buttons by trial and error and I still don't know how to recharge it (batteries, USB??) but almost all instructions can be found online these days.

This style is slim and not bulky. A little tough to install at first, but if it won't go on right away, put the cover only in the freezer. It will harden up a bit and go on more easily.

Nice color choices. The downside for me is that the case, even the softer rubber covering the buttons is hard enough to make pressing the buttons difficult.

I have gone through a number of variations of the commuter and they have all been excellent and last a LONG time before wearing out. I got this one for my son's SE.

This is my second purchase only because one day I accidentally pulled the exterior back too far when I was trying to take it off and it cracked, so be careful :)

Looks Better on the iPhone 5 than the older model cases Did. Can't beat it. I actually liked this series of Otterbox So much I purchased one for my new iPad as well!

I like how they feel like they have built a stronger product. THew top lock button was very hard to press in the beginning but has become easier to press.

It was $25. less online at another business and he sold it to me for that price. Didn't know they offered that service and was very pleased.
