Both me and my fiance purchased the Iphone 5 and as soon as we did we purchased the commuter case, mine black hers pink and white not that color really matters. Both of us have taken our phone out and put them back in to clean the inside of the case and have had no problem with breaking them, its pretty simple if the way your trying to get the case off isn't working don't force it and it wont break aka don't be stupid. Next I have no idea what this guy is talking about "The Apple lightning adapter will not plug in to the bottom of the phone because it cannot reach through the opening. Seems like a pretty big design flaw. Since most people will not be willing to remove a case like this every day, this basically makes the case unusable." obviously he cant find the flap at the bottom of the phone that is there so you can plug your phone in.... I don't know people amaze me. Moving on, I have dropped the phone twice but not from very high up nor on a very hard surface but still the phone nor the case was damaged. If you are in a very physical job, known for being hard on phones, or maybe even a little clumsy you know happens to all of us this case isn't for you look into the Defender. But if your work is the opposite or if your just really cautious of your phone this case this work just fine for you.

I bought this case for a couple of specific reasons. Mostly because it was a gorgeous mint green color, and I am obsessed with mint green. The other is because I needed a durable case, and I did not want to pay the price for a Lifeproof case. I have heard SO many bad reviews for the Lifeproof for iPhone 5, and I spent a good deal of time researching Otterbox as a company in general, and their products are really worth the affordable price. I have dropped, and threw mine around, and it has held up wonderfully. I would, and plan to buy this in other colors.

I didn't realize how bulky the case was, but it has done a fantastic job protecting my phone. I've dropped the phone a few times and there are no marks at all.

I was hesitant to get this particular one because it's white with gray accents. I was worried the white would look dirty or my make up would rub off on it. No more worries! I love this cover! The white is still bright and the gray rubber parts are fine. My phone is white too and it looks great! My only complaint is the little nub on the bottom that you have to pop open to charge the phone. I think mine might eventually fall off, and I have seen it happen to others as well. Also it was a bit expensive, but hey, it's guaranteed and if anything happens to my phone it's replaceable by Otter Box. I say go for it! The white will stay perfect!

I bought this otter box commuter case for my Apple iPhone 5s. This case is the perfect size for carrying phone in pants pockets. Thin yet very good protection.

I love the case, the second time i got it. The first time i bought this case 3 months ago the rubber in the top right corner bubbled up and started to peel. I brought it in to best buy and they exchanged it, no questions asked. I love my second one and it has save my iphone 5 more than 10 times.

Otterbox case seems to protect my Iphone 5 well without being too obtrusive in size. My original one broke while in my pants pocket but BestBuy gave me a new replacement one without any issues.

This is my second Otterbox commuter and it works. I found a belt clip that fits it well but I forgot to lock it in one day and my iPhone took a tumble down 1 and 1/2 flights of hardwood stairs landing on a hard surface under the last flight. I wasn't optimistic but my phone still works just fine. One corner of the case is not quite as snug now but it's still fine. My previous Otterbox took a tumble onto the sidewalk and survied just fine. I finally caught it on a corner at work and took off a corner so bought this one as a replacement. Nice case!

I just purchased this case and I am happy with it. I like the white and grey since my phone is white, and the screen protector isn't bad. Buttons all work, sound is good, easy to get to charger and earphone ports.

Fits the iPhone 5s perfectly. Have dropped it a couple of times already and no scratches or dings in my phone.

I bought this case after being so hesitant to purchase an otterbox. hearing about the bulk iness of it turned me off. but this case is a life saver. I dropped my brand new iphone 5 twice and nothing happened. My only concern is the white material. Upon trying to pop my phone out of the case, the white part snapped backwards. It's upsetting because they should either make it easier to pry your phone out or make a stronger case. Overall, it's excellent.

Bough this case at BB a few weeks ago. Paid $19.99. That is a great price compared to other cases of similar quality. This is the second Otter Box case that I have purchased. Had the same one on my 4S. I like this case because of the simple fact that it fits in my front pocket and its easily accessible. No rubber hanging up getting out. I seldom drop my phone but it seems very durable.

this keeps my iPhone 5 safe from everyday booboos.had a hard time putting the screen shield on as it kept on lifting up at the sides once i got the case on so i had to do a bunch of adjustments.it's fine now but it's not centered on the home button.also it adds a lot of weight to the phone which defeats the purpose of getting a lighter phone in the first place.
