This is my second otterbox product the Defender case was just a little to big.

Everything is good besides the rubber, epically where the charger goes. If starts to hang.

Your telephone will survive a 6 foot drop. Well worth the price.

Good case but little expensive. I got it in a deal so it's ok.

How do I keep screen clean and not get moisture into phone?

I was going to get this case from the otter box online store but when I noticed it at the local best buy i figured why wait? Every case I have ever gotten from the otterbox store has been of good quality and fit perfectly. Even tho this item DID have the otterbox hologram sticker, the fit on my phone was poor, the rubber was much thinner / flimsier and the screen protector was missing from the box. I don't shop best buy much anymore because IMO, the quality has really gone down. This is the last straw - I will not be shopping at best buy again.

It's pretty irritating that the rubber that is supposed to cover the sync port doesn't stay closed. It's just really irritating because it's new out of the box and flawed.

I bought one of these when I got my iPhone 5 last year and I really enjoyed it at first at least until I started noticing that the sleep/wake button was not very responsive. I took the case off and tried out the sleep/wake button without the case and it was broken. It would not make my phone come to life so I was constantly hitting the home button to wake it up. I had to send in my iPhone and get a refurbished one. That made me so disappointed with Otterbox. I never use my Commuter anymore because I know it'll ruin my other buttons too!

New design leaves very thin line of silicone across face on both top ad bottom which sometimes gets caught under harder plastic part of case. Also, on/off button on top is hard to press.

The screen protection is a complete joke. I bought this case because I needed something that had a durable shell and a good screen protector. Thought I was smart in saving ten bucks. If you are going to spend $40 bucks go ahead and spend ten more dollars and buy the defender. I put the screen protector on as instructed and within hours I have bubbles forming and it is already peeling off. Not happy at all.

I plug my phone into my car everyday to listen to music. The only drawback I have to this case it that you can't use the car adaptor without having to take the case off, which is not easy to do. The case is too bulky so the plug cannot fit. For this reason alone, I'll have to choose another case. It's not something I want to deal with every day.

The cover looks good and I think it does a good job of protecting the phone. However, there is one MAJOR issue. The Apple lightning adapter will not plug in to the bottom of the phone because it cannot reach through the opening. Seems like a pretty big design flaw. Since most people will not be willing to remove a case like this every day, this basically makes the case unusable. One other issue is that mine appears to be slightly warped. It doesn't lay completely flat on a flat surface.

My Otterbox was only 19 days old when it broke. I was removing my phone from the case to put it into my armband before a run and it snapped. That's right, I didn't drop it or step on it: it broke under normal use. All Otterbox will do is replace your case. You could not pay me enough money to put my phone back in that thing. In case you are wondering, my local Best Buy would neither return or exchange it because it was broken.

This case is not exactly like the life proof cases. Stay away

The hard shell broke at the very thin piece above the lighting charger port. I do not abuse my phone at all - this is just poor construction. Putting the thinest piece of shell where your finger always presses is not a very good idea.
