Finally got my daughter to get a new case built with quality and orotection in mind.

It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but it was worth it.

Went with commuter series cause of the hard plastic on outside, this keeps it from snagging on pockets when retrieving phone, it's also slim compared to the defender, may not be as protective as defender but I feel it does it's job well

I bought this to protect my new iPhone. This case looks stylish and does a great job of protecting my phone. I have dropped my phone several times since purchasing this phone and still not a scratch on it!

I had phony otterbox's in the past but this is not one of them.

The fit was nice and snug and the grip on it made my phone feel secure in my hand. I have key my kids play games on my phone which means it's going to get dropped and abused. This drops have happened but the phone keeps on ticking.

This is the third phone to get a Commuter case. The case has soft and hard shells, which helps when I drop the device. So far after 2 or 3 years using the Commuters, I haven't had a crack or dent.

I purchased this case for my new work phone. The features of this cover at the sale price far exceed my expectations. My phone has been dropped a few times since getting this case and there is absolutely no damage.

Fantastic case for the price. Plastic shell is fairly durable and inside rubber soft shell makes it an awesome combo. After 2.5 years I'm just starting to think about replacing the case.

Love my otterbox but I cannot clean the rubber part very well

The screen protector is not the top of the line GLASS and the Rubber FLAP protector for the lightening connection is somewhat annoying. However the Screen Protector is easily replaced, and for drops the box is the best for the price.

I purchased an Otterbox Commuter series case for my new iPhone 5S. I was used to the Otterbox Defender case which I had for my iPhone 4, and there are, obviously, differences in the two. I like the fact that now that I have a more streamlined phone in the iPhone 5S, I have a more streamlined case to compliment it. But I have noticed that the Commuter case is harder for me to hold on to since the outer shell comprises most of the "sides" and it's not the rubbery silicone texture that I was used to with the Defender case. Also, while I feel like my "lay in place and forget it" screen protector keeps more dust off the screen than the permanent "all in one" screen protector on the Defender series, I feel like my keyboard isn't as responsive, so that's a trade-off. I do believe that Otterbox is the best protection out there for smartphones, and will continue to buy them for any phone I have.

It is a really good case, but eventually the "flap" that covers the charging port gets lose and won't stay shut. (This is new for a current phone, so it still works good, but the one for my old phone lost its ability to stay closed)

The OtterBox Commuter case gives great protection to the new iPhone 5. The pieces that cover the jacks on the bottom of the phone remain securely in place until you loosen them to plug in the lightning connector or a set of headphones.

I had my case for a month or two until I noticed a crack on the bottom of my case. I hardly ever drop my phone and I never noticed it then. I contacted otterbox and they are sending a replacement. Great warranty on these cases! Overall this is a fantastic case.

Overall, I think this is a good case. I initially wanted a life proof case but I didn't want to spend $80-$90. This case was about $20. I like that it's not too big and bulky but I wish it had something to cover the front screen.
