I would recommend for a child with a iPhone so the phone's screen will not get cracked if dropped. I had to pay for $200 to replace the phone. The price of the otterbox is so much less. Get one for yourself if use a outdoor person.

And, Best Buy had installed it for me with minimum wait time.

Good protection, kinda thick for me. Rubber outer case stretches over time and is then loose. For 50 bucks it should be constructed of better materials that don't stretch in 3 months of regular use. This case is ... Ok

Old case for someone who needs an otter bob phone case.

i bought this case for my son's iphone 5c and he loved it. it took care of his phone really well. so much that the phone was still in good condition for my daughter to use after my son got a new iphone.

I bought the phone cover in 2014 and it is now starting to peel on the back. It lasted me 2 years, and has done a great job. It is about time for me to buy a new one anyway. I would like a more colorful cover.

This is my 5th Otterbox purchase. I couldn't use the Defender Series because the attached screen protection was very poor so we go the Commuter and it is ok. I wish they would go back to the original style. But not bad for $39

Great case for regular use. Vary nice feel to it. Slides into a pocket easily. I did want to make my screen protector want to peel up on the edges. Remember it IS NOT water proof, charge port is open to water or a drink spill.

It is an otterbox. I like the feel of this one better than the old ones. It's more slim and less sticky. What I don't like is the hole in the screen protector, it let's dirt and moisture in. I would like more color options.

I love Otterbox cases. This is the third one I've bought, and they've all performed well, keeping phones and iPods safe from harm when dropped and keeping dust and even a little moisture from getting to the phone's components.

The OtterBox is a strong, tough, durable case for those prone to dropping their iPhones. It's not waterproof (there are others on the market for that), but it pretty much takes care of any other issue you may encounter.

Bought for mother-in-law for her new iPhone. She loves it.
