Poorly. I've been using a variety of cases for years and this one is disappointingly slick to pick up on the side due to the smooth plastic snap on case that is position in the wrong places. The rubber areas are easy to grip but where one naturally picks up a phone and holds it is covered in slick, smooth plastic. It is very difficult to hold and I'm extremely tech savvy and used to working with all this kind of stuff. I hate to say, but look elsewhere or use at your own risk. It's shame.
