We’re sorry that the Commuter case is a bit too slippery for your comfort level. We certainly weren’t out to cause any perilous predicaments, but rather create a streamlined design with ease-of-use for clothing pockets, etc. Perhaps our Defender case would be a better fit for you as it does have a silicone slip cover on the outside of the case. It's slimmer, but the back is so smooth (plastic shell that snaps around the rubber inner shell) that it's REALLY easy for it to slip out of your hand when surfing while holding with one hand. You get more tacky feel with the Defender type of case that has the rubber outer shell as opposed to smooth plastic.
