Can't Use Most Aftermarket Charging Cables
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this on sale a couple of days ago and had high hopes for a slim case with protection, but I can use my Amazon Basic or Anker Lighting charging cables. Maybe the 1,000+ positive reviews are only using their original Apple cable with a smaller housing around the lighting connector, but I have many quality aftermarket cables that won't work with the small opening formed by the rigid basic back that covers the back and sides of the softer silicon case. It would be great it put a thin plate inside the hard outer case to use on a magnetic mount in my car like I have with other cases, but no reason when you can even charge the phone. Case is going back today I'm sorry to say. I'm a little concerned how real some of this brief reviews are.
