This commuter version of the Otter Box is much thinner. I had a standard Otter Box on my iPhone 5s for over two years. It protected my phone the few times I dropped it, but it was very bulky. I like this slimmer version and I am hoping it will meet my protection needs. I have only had it for about 3 weeks. If I put my phone face down, it will stay put on most surfaces. It would be nice if there was a some gripping type surface on the back, but it hasn't been a major problem.

Everything looks great and I get lots of compliments on the design. I drop my phone a lot and this otter box protects it really well. Only problem I have is with power supply does not line up when trying to plug into phone. Instead of adjusted the various cords, shaved off a small part so power could be plugged in phone

Perfect fit for the new iPhone 7 plus. Gives the rugged protection you need without being a bulky case. Slim and appealing and carries the Otterbox reputation as the best.

Was not sure how this would work with iPhone 7 plus being a new product but these fit like a glove are light weight and durable have dropped phone twice since I've bought this and the phone was well protected. Be sure to buy a screen protector as well preferably a glass one since they offer better protection

It really depends on what you are looking for in a phone case. I like the commuter case because I can use it with a glass screen protector. That way, I still get the protection of the otter box case and am able to get the screen protection I prefer.

I had this case in my phone for over a year. I dropped my phone and tried to stop it with my foot and instead kicked it into a brick wall then hit the concrete ground and nothing happened to the phone and there was barely a ding in the case.

This is a good case, not too bulky like the other otterbox case, but protects the phone well. The fit is perfect, and it feels good in your hands.

One of the more slim otterbox cases but still just as protective. Nice color, fits the phone comfortably and I never have to worry about dropping it!

This case is thinner than you’d expect and fits perfectly. I previously bought a different brand and I put it on and it was not functional. Ruined speakers and couldn’t even talk in the phone. This case works so well with this phone!!

This case offers great protection. it's fits snug. It's easy to hold and allows easy access to all keys on the side. Definitely a good purchase

Love this otterbox. It's lightweight and a great color. It's not a dark navy even though the photo looks dark. Great protection but sleek design.

The original price for this iPhone 7-plus case is $49 but I got lucky and got it for 1/2 price. It fits the phone very snugly, has rubberized edges to absorb accidental drops (less than 3 feet). Overall I am happy with this case.

Replaced another phone case of lesser quality. Just wished it was a attractive as the other I had but after repeated problems with my other case, I decided I needed to go back to the OtterBox for better protection.

The good thing is that it does not make the phone much bigger, as the Defender does. I am not sure it protects as much as the Defender does, however. So it is a definite tradeoff. The Defender on a 7 Plus was making the thing so darn big, so this is a good alternative. The phone in the Commuter has been bumped around some, but nothing to really test the protection (fortunately) so far, so it is hard to tell. In any case, you need to put something on the phone, and this is an excellent choice, if not awesome.

This phone case is awesome. Really protects your phone good from any angle you might have your phone fall from. No doubt on buying this case for my next phone I’ll be getting in the near future

I’ve always loved the Otterbox brand and this was no exception. This case provides great protection for my phone and it has stood up thru many bangs and drops. I would purchase again and again.

I am a maintenance tech, there’s days I feel like I’m performing yoga over and around stuff and this case keeps my phone safe even when my 250lb body is laid all over it in not normal ways

I bought this case because of price. Best Buy had a great deal on it. I really like it for the most part. Protective and slim, I prefer thin cases. Still fits in my back pocket without issue. It is also an attractive case with a professional look. The rim around the edge of the screen was well thought out, has a low profile, and doesn't inhibit use of the screen. Still provides ample protection without creating challenges for screen protectors. Minus one star for being slick on the back a little too much for my taste. It will slide around on your lap or the console of a car a little too easy. The rubber flap that goes into the lightning port feels like it may break off at some point considering how much I have to use it, but if it did, I wouldn't really care.

Enjoy the full protection of an Otterbox without the bulky look. Very light and it has layers of protection.
