I've always loved otterbox cases. This one though, scuffs up and shows scratches so easy it's disappointing.

Case is good but screen protector tor is not. Get the defender.

I have to say this case was, for all intents and purposes, a waste of money. I had a lot of people tell me that Otterbox makes very high quality phone cases. I spent a lot of money and did not get much satisfaction as a result. The case looks and feels cheap and does not even fit the phone properly. It will have to be replaced with something else now and this one will likely end up in a drawer, collecting dust. My advice to anyone considering this case... Save your money. There are a lot better cases on the market at a fraction of the cost of this so-called Otterbox phone case.

The back of the case is great, however the front peels around the edges like crazy. .

The Camera quit working in 21 days. With out the Best Buy extended "warranty", Best Buy would not do anything! Best Buy has a 15 day return policy. Had to go through AT&T to get a replacement..

My daughter swears by these. we buy one every time she upgrades a phone. she loves the style I love no broken screens or phone damage... only thing it doesn't help is prolong full immersion. Win win win and worth the money for this over the protection plans though major providers. we don't carry them anymore as haven't need with this.

Has a nice, beefy feel to it. It's survived my father and the construction business for five months now, and shows little sign of wear and tear. the charger port has a cover, which is nice for dusty environments. It's soft with plenty of material to soak up those heavy hits with ease, as has happened to ours many times over from various distances on hard rock and concrete, not a single complaint from the phone about it.

I'm not a big fan of the Defender series cases. They're too big and bulky. But this commuter series is perfect. Sleek while still protective. It comes with a plastic screen protector that is good too, but will fit with a glass one, too, for the best protection.

Purchased 2 of these for my parents new Galaxy s4 phones. Excellent case alternative to the Defender. The various color options was a plus as well. You won't be disappointed in this case.

I have been purchasing Otterbox commuter series cases for my last three phones (4 years), and I have always really liked them. I like knowing that my phone is protected in multiple ways, and I usually get great "sell back" prices because of how new the case keeps the phone. With this newest type, I felt that the rubber portion was not as sticky-feeling as before, and the bulk I tend to expect was not there. That, of course, may be a positive thing for others, but I thought I'd mention it. I have no doubt that this case will be great, and I'm sure I will like it in the end. However, the change in texture has taken some getting used to. Also, this product is still listed as "coming soon" online (7.1.13), but it is actually in stores. If you need to call your specific store, ask them to check their OWN stock to see if it's in, as my store was confused for a few weeks, when they actually did have it in stock. They were, apparently, checking online rather than their own inventory. Good luck!

I got this on sale at Best Buy and it is worth every penny. It does not cover the screen like the Defender but the lip is raised so the screen does not have any contact with the surface if it is placed screen down. I have dropped my phone on a tile floor accidentally and there was no damage whatsoever to my phone. Not as bulky as the Defender and easily fits in my pocket too. Get it!

OtterBox got this one right. Great fit, lots of protection, feels good in hands. It is slightly bulkier than other "sleek" cases, but that's ok because my $$$ cellular phone is safer in it. I'm very satisfied!

I have a had this case now for about 4 months now and have dropped my phone several times and it is still in out of the box condition! Would recommend this case to anyone especially for how much they are selling for now!

I really like this case, it looks good and you cant really ask for better protection. My service provider wants $10 a month for insurance, them a $200 deductible for a S4 replacement if a year go's by that's $320 the hell with that, i would rather pay $40 to $50 on a good case. What I don't like about the case is it is to slick not much grip for me. I find the headphone and charger plug covers annoying, now if you are a construction worker or do work where you could get dirt or sawdust in the ports then by all means this is the case for you, the annoyance of having to hold the cover open to plug in the charger would be worth it but for me its an annoyance, also the case comes to close to the camera flash and effects it. I returned this case and replaced it with the Australian made Cygneet WorkMate Evolution in Bright Blue I love this case and it looks AWESOME and will not slip out of your hand.
